Murder, Murder, Murder. Are you people really that free from sin or believe that every animal is sacred? DO you eat chicken wings, wanna know how they die? How about the Sacred cow in your steak.

We kill animals every day here is the USA, in a cruel way. All you self-righteous types make me ill.

Every time you post, you reveal how freaking stupid you are. Nobody was eating these dogs, to my knowledge and I don't torture my chicken (or steal chickens from my neighbors to torture and kill) before I eat it. Perhaps you do.

What if I enjoy porn? Does this mean I can't pass judgement on a rapist?

I bet some team signs him, it just better not be the Bills. I can tolerate TO, his 1 year makes sense. Michael Vick is far too much to stomach.

Now that is a viable argument, he would create some distractions wouldn't he.

WTF does his losing money have to do with anything? Anyone else who goes to jail loses a large portion of their income too! Just because Joe Blow loses an $80,000 house and Vick loses $100 million then too bad. His financial losses have NOTHING to do with his punishment, IMO. Financial losses and getting your job back are things everybody who goes to prison face. Why is he any different?

The biggest difference is that he might throw games to pay back gambling debts.

Most convicts aren't in a position to affect big time gambling the way he would.

"I read Terrell's comments briefly,'' the commissioner said, "and I don't have any comment on it."

Whew.....

To be honest -- he's probably not amused, but I doubt he'd actually take action against Owens for saying that. Maybe a fine, but I doubt it.

I understand this was all his fault, but I'm willing to bet 90% of the people on this message board have never had anything this life changing happen in their lives.

Aww, poor little Mike Vick. He made his own bed. He had it all before his moronic, evil decisions cost him everything. Too damn bad for that waste of life.

Really? Not saying you're wrong, but this is what I read earlier today...

"The NFL announced Monday that commissioner Roger Goodell has reinstated QB Michael Vick on a conditional basis.

Vick will be considered for full reinstatement and will be eligible to play in regular-season games by Week 6 (Oct. 18-19). He had been suspended indefinitely since August 2007 after pleading guilty to federal charges relating to a dogfighting enterprise. He served 23 months in prison and was released from federal custody on July 20.

Vick, who’s an unrestricted free agent, can now participate in preseason practices, workouts and meetings and may play in the final two preseason games. During the regular season, Vick can participate in all team activities other than games. Vick also will be periodically evaluated by Goodell during his suspension and will be mentored by former Colts coach Tony Dungy..."

According to that, he's eligible to play in week 6, not week 7 as I erroneously stated earlier, but I can't imagine anyone being that stupid - with the possible exception of SKOOOOOOOOOOOOOBY - to risk a roster spot or any serious $$$$ on Vick. The UFL is where he's headed, IMO.

Yah I read the same and was surprised when Rich Eisen (sp?) said that Vick could potentially playing in game one? He specifically said that it's not a suspension and could be fully reinstated by game one if he follows the rules? Not sure if he just misspoke or not?

:rolleyes::wallbash:

Are you saying that because his job, in the NFL only, opens him up to gambling debt problems, like point shaving, that he should be allowed back in the league where he could accrue gambling debt problems while still playing in the league??!! :wallbash:

If he's not playing in the league then gambling debts cannot affect the league. 'Nuff said.

PITTSFORD, N.Y. -- Now that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has announced the conditions of Michael Vick's reinstatement, teams know the plan if they want to sign the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback.

Was this a joke or something, Pitta?

I wouldn't want to be called on the carpet for anything unrelated if I was TO. At least at the moment.

"a terrible mistake"?

You think operating an on-going dog torture/murder operation, over time, for profit...then lying about it, is simply "a terrible mistake"?

If it's not a terrible mistake then what was it? A good decision?

First of all, if it was a "mistake" it wasn't "a mistake" it was many, many mistakes.

But mostly it wasn't a mistake, it was purposeful and systematic. It was thought out, and planned and conducted over a period of time. His biggest "mistakes" here were leaving a trail, and getting caught.

I just hope when it does happen, all the idiots that are against it don't jump back on the bandwagon when we're hoisting the Lombardi.

Jauron couldn't hoist a jock strap let alone winning the SB. You could give that guy all the talent in the world and come game day he will mess things up like always. Trends dont lie and dick is a loser coach.

He is going to be willing to take back-up money and we have no real good back-up options. Fitzgerald and Hamdan suck and DJ is not going to hang his job on those boys this season. Stock the team with talent and let the coaches sort out where they go has been the theme.

GO Bills!!

I think this logic is Nuckin' Futz, but I really like the idea of it. It would be cool as hell.

Its definitely just me, but I want this team to be stacked with a**holes and criminals.

I know, I know, im dumb and lost and dont know what Im talking about. Just my opinion.

No, I think you misunderstand. I don't think he should ever play another down in the NFL.

Too high risk.

Based on that statement, you seem to know very well what you are talking about.

You're arguing semantics here. It was a mistake. Mistakes can still be purposeful and systematic. and many, many mistakes = a big terrible mistake. It's not like he said it was an accident.

cool avatar.

Seriously, im with SKOOOOBY (or whatever). I want Vick here, raising hell. I want to see PETA at the games being assaulted by drunk white trash animals. We need more media attention.

And yes, I'd have no problem strolling around with a Ron Mexico jersey.

ps...anybody notice TO's the only one to speak out? Seems like a possible olive branch from the bills...I love it.
