ESPN Says McGahee probably to Baltimore by this weekend

Recommended Posts

It would be a damn miricle if it happens.

Shawn Alexander - Not worth a 2nd round pick

Edgarrin James - Not worth a 2nd ronnd pick

Thomas Jones - Worth a swap of 2nd round picks

Willis McGahee - Worth a 2nd round pick PLUS a 5th round pick.....

Somehow this just doesnt add up

This is definitely getting interesting! Thats a good deal IMO. Get rid of this locker room cancer and get some character in here.

I can't believe Ozzie Newsome would pay such a steep price for that bum, unless the "U" connections of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed have that big of an influence? I believe Ed Reed played with Willis when we was still a very good back.

If a McGahee trade is truly in the cards, it will be a matter of days, not weeks. The Bills want to get on with their life and the Ravens want clarity on their RB situation. And then the Ravens can email Willis their desired off-season workout plan while he hangs out in his beloved Miami for the spring/summer.

Alexander and Edge wanted HUGE extensions as a part of their trades, hence the reason why no oen traded for them.

And McGahee doesn't??

We don't know. Even if he does, its possible that the Ravens are willing to pay him in the current market. They simply don't have that many options left. There probably aren't any full time starters among the FAs left, Peterson and Lynch are out of reach, and Willis is probably better than anyone they can get late in R2. They may feel its better to overpay for a decent starter rather than pay fair value for a player that inadequately fills their RB need.

True . Their window for another championship is closing, rather quickly I might add. Look at their stars, how many of them are over 30? hmmm, Ray Lewis, Trevor Pryce, Steve McNair, Jon Ogden, Derrick Mason, and Rolle/McAlister arent getting any younger either.

So therefore a 2nd round pick isnt that ridiculous because they are investing it with the idea that they will reep a return THIS YEAR.

looks like it might be a done deal.

For every person in Buffalo who can't wait to see him leave there's a person in Baltimore waiting at the airport for him wearing knee pads and a bib. Funny stuff.

Check out the one photo a guy has in his sig of Romo fumbling the snap at the end of the season, and the Geico caveman ad behind him with "So easy, even a caveman can do it." :censored:

I'm by no means a big Willis fan, but if Wes Welker is worth a 2nd & 7th to the Pats, Mcgahee is easily worth a 2th and 6th to the Ravens.

Honestly, this would be a great trade for both teams. Willis could be their new Jamal Lewis. Plus we get another 2nd rounder for a guy who wasn't that good and wasn't gonna re-sign anyways. Marv is the man. :censored:

Their line isn't all that good. Granted, Jamal Lewis isn't what he once was, but that OL needs work. Whoever is toting the rock for the Bills will be running behind a better line.
