2003
1.) Robert Mathis DE- He is a GREAT pass rusher and and all around extraordinary DE. He is a restricted FA, but I'd give up a 5th for him and overpay! I would rather have Robert Mathis than Mario Williams on the 2006-2007 Buffalo Bills! http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/players/playerpage/396031 2.) Mike Flanagan C- Veteran center. When healthy, he is a very solid player. 3.) Stephen Neal G- Same as Flanagan. 4.) Kenyatta Walker T- He is a young tackle with a lot of experience (54 games). 5.) Tank Williams S- He is very young (25) and a solid tackler. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/players/playerpage/302236 6. Tutan Reyes G 7. Tom Ashworth OT 8. Idrees Bashir S 9. Carlos Hall DE 10. Jeff Mitchell C NOTE*- I got all of these names from Scout.com. So if these guys are not FAs still, blame Scout.com.
Takeo_14
I agree 100% with Robert Mathis...They will not really be able to match anything for him!! Great point. I am still wondering why we have not brought in Kenyatta Walker???? Solid T solves a BIG part in our O line. Also why have we not brough tin Tank? VABills
Mathis has several issues. Undersized. Plays RDE (weak side), who is going to move to the other side (Schoebal). Sorry neither is good enough to play the run on that side.
Ranger Ranchod
Would love Mathis on this team. Don't know why they haven't tried to sign him, unless they can't fit in under their cap the number they feel it would take to blow him out of Indy's... Tortured Soul
According to your Mathis link, it says they gave him the "highest one-year tender" which I think means a 1st and 3rd in compensation, not a 5th. That would explain why there has been no movement on him.

I honestly don't even know how good he is, as I haven't seen him play. So ......... not sure why the hype here to sign him, no offense guys, but he hasn't played a lot. The Senator
Anyone thinks there's any chance that the Bills did invite some of these players, but they declined to come here? There was a lot of talk that the Bills would have trouble recruiting free agents - maybe it was true.

BillsGuyInMalta
Tutan Reyes is a guy that really interests me...didnt get much playing time his first few years but really came on strong the last two, said he wanted to test the market before deciding if he wants to go back to Carolina. I'd love to see the Bills got after him.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Thanks for backing that up - and why attack the poster? 631931 exactly; the original poster only said he was young and had experience, not that he's good. And I'm not sure how terrible Walker is; has anyone thought of shifting the guy to guard? As a tackle, he certainly hasn't panned out as predicted. 2003
Are there any good DT out there? 631961 One DT that interests me is Terdell Sands. He is huge (6-7/335) and young. Maybe Bill Kollar could teach him a thing or two and he could become a solid NT. There is also Grady Jackson, Brentson Buckner, and Russell Davis available.
