I hope I wasn't the only one who noticed the disaster of a makeup job on Todd McShay's face tonight. He was interviewed live on the 11pm SportsCenter and his face looked similar to a giant slice of cheddar jack cheese. His makeup artist better start checking the classifieds and immediately find a new craft. Sorry for the extremely irrelevant post, but I feel as though it was quite karma-like as a douche looks like a total idiot in front of a national audience.

After having a draft class comprised mostly of college seniors, hiring Doug Whaley and later Dave Wandstedt, and signing Shawne Merriman, I have realized that wily old Buddy Nix and company are slowly, but surely changing the atmosphere and culture of our beloved Buffalo Bills. As soon as Gailey had the Bills remove the televisions from their weight room, I knew he meant business. In just one swift off-season and a quick 4-12 campaign, the signs of a culture shift are gathering. There are now heavily padded training camps, the head coach is nearly brutally honest about players when asked, and players are willing to go all out when their name is called. As a result of this, I feel like a storm of winning football is brewing in the Bills’ locker room, but that place -the locker room- is still missing a couple of key links… Some nasty, never stop, hard working, and talented leaders that the entire team respects and would rally around. I’m not going to act like I know any of the Bills players personally, so I cannot really judge any of them as leaders, but I’m going to guess that when a group of 54 men who spend the majority of their time together are lead by the likes of Ryan Fitzpatrick, Fred Jackson, Lee Evans, Eric Wood, Chris Kelsay, Paul Posluszny, and George Wilson, I would not be surprised that the group sees fleeting success. For that reason, I feel like Shawne Merriman may have been a step in the right direction, but I believe Bob Sanders could be exactly what the Bills need in this department. If Sanders stays healthy for a decent portion of the year and we see glimpses of his brilliant play, then I think he would help the team leaps and bounds. Sanders' tremendous play and intensity will have been enough to captivate his teammates to the point where most players highly respect the former Pro Bowl safety. With that said, Sanders has great tools in his leadership arsenal: he is tough as nails (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3088621), he’s a veteran that could surely teach every safety on the roster a thing or two, he's got the heart of four lions, and he’s been on a perennially winning team that has even won a Super Bowl.

Mort may have been taking that out of context. The First Take guys asked Revis if he could rank the #1 receivers in the AFC east as to who is the toughest to cover and Revis replied with 1.) Moss 2.) Marshall 3.) Evans.

I agree with what KD in CT and erynthered said. Buddy Nix discussed that the coaches are key in developing players, so if they Bills hire solid coordinators this could be a decent hire.

Yea, I go to UCF, so I was at the game, and I must say that UB is not very good this year. Zach Maynard was highly inaccurate and most of his completions were just screens (especially to Roosevelt Naaman, he's quick). Although it was awesome to walk around the stadium and see a load of bills fans!!

Now that is good to see. It seems as though the Bills' draft class this year has an immense passion for football. Actually, the only Bill I can think of off the top of my head who does not love football is Aaron Schobel. I remember reading somewhere that he milks his injuries so he can miss practice and that he just wants to play until his contract is up and then he's done.

Yes, Trent Edwards, to me, is the x-factor of this season. If he stumbles out of the gate and gets hurt, then we are left wondering who we are going to have at quarterback from 2010 and beyond. The Bills now have a pretty solid foundation with a lot of young guys to build off of, but if Edwards doesn't improve or even prove he is competent in this league, this will once again set the Bills back for years.

Here is what he had to say: All in all, the Bills offensive line is now young; almost young enough to have Michael Jackson aroused (is this too early?), with the average age of a starter at 25 years. Russ Brandon is not an idiot either. He did not cut Langston Walker to save money. I will be going off to college in a few days, but I will not be bringing a tv along with me. I do not plan on watching much television, but I would still like to catch a few of my favorite shows from time to time. With that said, I have been looking for ways to watch television from my laptop. I eventually stumbled upon isoftwaretv (http://www.isoftwaretv.com/index.asp?revid=killjoy99). So far I have not read any bad reviews about it. Has anybody ever tried this program or any other way to watch television from the computer? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Same here!! Have you ever wondered why it is nearly impossible to sleep in on days when the Bills play? I swear, I could go to sleep at noon on a Sunday, and if the Bills are playing @ 1, I'd be awake by 12:30!
