Did Bledsoe do anything yesterday?

He slipped on some sweat in the locker room yesterday.  Don't think he plans to do it again though.

To his credit, the floor was slightly slanted and the o-line failed ot properly block the sweat and it rolled downhill on the floor toward DB...he patted his towel while considering what to do, locked on to the door, but didnt sense the sweat that close to him and slipped...

He's challenged the janitors "to step up to the plate" for the final two weeks of camp.

Part of me said .. why reply? part of me said ... why not ! That part won ...

You would almost think that Drew must have owed some people money on her .. or got their sister knock up .. with the constant bashing the guy gets ...

Looking back at the line of QB's the Bills have had from Jim Kelly and on ... Drew was darn OK ...

Comp Att Comp % Yds Y/Att TD Int Rating

2004 9-7 Drew 256 450 56.9 2932 6.5 20 16 76.6

2003 6-10 Drew 274 471 58.2 2860 6.07 11 12 73.0

2002 8-8 Drew 375 610 61.5 4359 7.15 24 15 86.0

2001 3-13 Van Pelt 178 307 58.0 2056 6.70 12 11 76.4

Johnson 134 216 62.0 1465 6.78 5 7 76.3

2000 8-8 Johnson 175 306 57.2 2125 6.94 12 7 82.2

Flutie 132 231 57.1 1700 7.36 8 3 86.5

1999 11-5 Johnson 25 34 73.5 298 8.76 2 0 119.5

Flutie 264 478 55.2 3171 6.63 19 16 75.1

1998 10-6 Johnson 67 107 62.6 910 8.50 8 3 102.9

Flurie 202 354 57.1 2711 7.66 20 11 87.4

1997 6-10 Collins 215 391 55.0 2367 6.05 12 13 69.5

1996 10-6 Kelly 222 379 58.6 2810 7.41 14 19 73.2

1995 10-6 Kelly 255 458 55.7 3130 6.83 22 13 81.1

1994 7-9 Kelly 285 448 63.6 3114 6.95 22 17 84.6

1993 12-4 Kelly 288 470 61.3 3382 7.20 18 18 79.9

1992 11-5 Kelly 269 462 58.2 3457 7.48 23 19 81.2

1991 13-3 Kelly 304 474 64.1 3844 8.11 33 17 97.6

1990 13-3 Kelly 219 346 63.3 2829 8.18 24 9 101.2

So lets see ... Jim Kelly (who is my favorite!) had 5 fairly average years ,, in fact last 5 years had almost the same TD's as INT's

Then Todd Collins .... fairly bad

Then the Flutie / Johnson years ... 3 winning years and pretty good TD / INT numbers ... so for all the bashing also did not do so bad ...

Van Pelt ... numbers are not so bad for a 3-13 team

Drew ... 2 more losses than wins ... his completion percent and yardage as good as Kelly ever did .. his rating was as good As Flutie and equal to Kelly's last year

Bottom line ... Drew did a fair to average job as QB ... and no reason to bash the guy ... HELL of a lot better than ANYONE on this board could have done !
