To the original post there never should be a debate. Allen is multiple tiers ahead of Maye. I see 2 of about 8 pat fans that flooded here last week  (though apparently one missed the game so going off boxscore) after the loss. Wonder if other folks would join if pats didn’t choke a 21-0 lead? Other fans banter or opinion should be welcomed but this just confirms it was nonsense trolling and gets rid of them next time please. They added zero context and spewed nonsense and of course not here to simply own it. All this and they should still be feeling good. Pats season didn’t end yesterday. They are still prime shape to win division.  They choked at home to wrap up the division coming off bye week so I get the frustration. When teams meat again I’m just going to laugh react to every post they make. If rematch this year and bills

win you know they will be gone, if lose they all will be here. Taking this L really bad

Maye had some insane highlights his rookie year too.. not the same as Allen because we’ll be is a Maye not Allen… but he showed amazing flashes with some amazing plays.

You seem like a nice guy but… give it a rest. This is a Bills message board, remember?

Pats fans are are delusional because they lucked into the best football player that ever lived.  They now believe it is their god given right to win championships.  I heard the same song and dance when the ball grabber won a few games.  Now he's on his third team.  Maye is slightly above average, only propped up by the garbage he played against this year.  No 300 yard games and was awful when his team needed him.

Brady wins this game easily.  Maye choked it away.

Funny how they all forget the "Baby GOAT (MJ10)" era of greatness!

What is the "real reckless" talk? Bc I didn't see anyone saying Drake Maye is better than Josh Allen.

If you’re going to be wrong, don’t be lazy (take two seconds to look). And If you’re going to be lazy, then certainly don’t be wrong.

Maye was 5-12 for 47 yards in the second half. When he needed to make a few plays to close out the win, he couldnt do it

McKorkle is better....

Agreed.  He’s morphed from a Bills fan to Josh Allen’s mother.

Maye is going to be a special player in this league.  He’s not Josh Allen and I don’t know of many people (if any) that said Maye was better than Allen.

You literally just said Maye is a better passer than Allen less than two weeks ago.

You were one of the ones talking reckless.

I think they are pretty much the same player. Both good enough to start. Maye will probably be better supported so I like his chances better

Maye is good, I like him. But people crowning him as an elite QB is absurd. He has a lot to prove still

Why are there so many certainty-peddlers online?

"If you can't see that Drake Maye is elite and will be tormenting the Bills for a decade blah blah blah..."

I see a 2nd year guy who threw some good passes and had a good run of games. That's it. He might never have a stretch like this again.

I still remember when Mac and cheese was regarded as the "baby GOAT" and the next Tom Brady. The media just can't help themselves in hyping up NE........it's a sickness.

Maye is good, but he's nowhere near JA good.

Maybe in a year or so, this conversation will take a sideways turn if Maye turns out to be the real deal, but as of today, JA and Maye shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence.

I have spoken.

Ding ding ding. Look he may be a good starter for all we know which is fine but people really saying he’s a better passer then Josh Allen and better football player should have all rights revoked from ever taking football again.

If you don’t know by now that Josh Allen is the best player you’ve ever seen there is something wrong with your head. This is coming from someone that saw the Kelly era in person.

Maye is doing this with average to below average talent at receiver he gets a good WR to go with Henderson in the backfield who can, as you saw, break huge runs and we will see how good he really can be.. right now Allen isn’t as good as he could be because the talent around him outside of Cook (and Kincaid) is average at best..

SHAUNESSEY! Is a troll he does it for clicks he will say the exact opposite on the radio to get the Pats fan going crazy.. as for Gasper he is usually pretty open minded I’m shocked he was like that

It's hard to project how good Maye will become.  He particularly throws a nice deep ball, but he can make all the throws.  But can he make them with enough consistency?  Can he make improbable plays when his team needs him most?  Yesterday, he couldn't but a bad half is too small a slice of time to be predictive.

Maye may not have a lot of talent on the outside, but he does have a good OC.  McDaniels is better at coordinating a downfield passing game than Joe Brady, even if that wasn't in evidence in the second half of yesterday's game.

From what i've seen on Maye, given enough time in the pocket with zero pressure and he'll make all the throws and make D's look pretty stupid while doing it.

Even yesterday when he didn't see any pressure, he was slicing and dicing and carving our D like a 3 week old dried out Christmas turkey.

Maye is the type of QB that you have to get right in his face and make him uncomfortable right from the first snap of the game........we didn't do that in the 1st half.
