Debate Over: Drake Maye can’t hold Josh Allen’s jockstrap

Maye is doing this with average to below average talent at receiver he gets a good WR to go with Henderson in the backfield who can, as you saw, break huge runs and we will see how good he really can be.. right now Allen isn’t as good as he could be because the talent around him outside of Cook (and Kincaid) is average at best..

Unrelated, will McDaniels ever take another stab at head coaching?  Or think he’s content remaining as a coordinator?  I don’t follow the Pats enough to know if this is ever a concern.

And if it was Josh Allen the "internet" was going crazy for in his first two years, would you have a problem with it? You this is sports right?

I said it’s a general comment that doesn’t necessarily apply to Drake. it’s not impossible that year 1/2 is the peak for a qb though by any means and it’s very odd when it’s talked about like it’s impossible especially when one such player came from your own team not long ago 😂. 
 

then on top of that there’s guys that peak early under a new OC then get figured out 

he may very well go on to be amazing but it’s not a sure thing

Always a concern but I think he is content right now. He sounds like he wants to prove he is a good OC even without Brady.

And nobody said it wasn't possible. I know you are hoping it's very possible especially if the Bills cant win a SB soon. And Ahh does Mac Jones have the same abilities Drake Maye has? Like what are we doing here...or cuz they worn the same uniform that means they will suffer the same fate?

and Oliver will be back for us….all teams get injured players back, right? This was a huge loss for NE. Playing a cake schedule (not their fault) they had statement opportunity and honestly threw up all over themselves in the 2nd half. Really nice story this year - congrats -  but this loss will create a lot of doubt.

Ya because it wasn’t the defense giving up 28 points in a half.. and let’s not forget Allen only put up 7 in the first half..  Maye didn’t lose that game the Pats D inability make a second half stop even after getting the lead with less than 5 minutes to go..

Yup, I didn't see a whole lot today that screamed Maye isn't anything more than an avg QB. I wasnt impressed at all, he actually folded late in the game when they needed him most.

Thank you! I asked nicely the first time but someone got all bent out of shape because I didn’t know who was out for the Bills.  The Offense played well enough to win today  IMO both D were bad today..

This confuses me. After the Pats win earlier in the year, and through the Bills slump you were at pains to say Allen was great and Bills fans were being over critical. Now the Bills won thanks to a massive comeback at Foxborough it's all because of Cook, not Allen?

Wait, so one player returns for the Patriots, and all of a sudden the Bills won’t be able to run AND Allen will have to be Superman?!

 

You do realize the Bills were without their BEST two defenders in Ed Oliver and Christian Benford. Bernard was also out at linebacker today. The Bills D has been decimated all season. 
 

I’ll absolutely look forward to the rubber match if we can have our guys back too.  Maybe Maye will have to be Superman?  We can see how that goes.

Actually that’s what everyone says about the Bills.. look it up if Cook has a sub par game the bills have lost.. the same isn’t true for Allen THIS year.. does that mean Allen is awful? No just that the Bulls O needs cook to win this year.
