Joe brady on the pregame talking about how the first time they played the pats gonzales and tovai had not played yet prior to there game and they were not sure how new england would use them.  He said it was a chess match in the game countering their wrinkles on defense and it took a while to get what they were doing.

 

He then mentioned that they had some runs that worked for them early in the year and now have dried out and they have made changes and will get back to those runs at some point he thinks.

 

He said the first time we played we turned the ball over on the first drive, then in the redzone.  He said playing a clean game today is the goal.  

 

Brady said williams being out for the pats, he is a huge part of who they are.  He said there is a game within the game in how they will makeup for williams.  They feel good their guys will handle the matchups.

 

He told the players to embrace the environment, being booed and being hated can make for the best games.  The team needs to get used to it and then they need to start fast and protect the football.

 

Its a big game because its the next one and looking forward to the environment.

Diggs isn't noted for deep shots, more of a dink and dunk guy, Hollins is the epitome of a possession receiver.  Hairston should be able to handle any speed receiver better than Tre'

I broke my big toe watching a bills game about 15 years ago.  Kicked the tv stand.  Hurt like a b..ch for 2 weeks and couldn’t do anything about it other than be more pissed off the following bills games after that. Yeah I felt pretty stupid but it really was painful- all I could do was tape it to the toe next to it.

You know, back in the day doctors never used gloves. When a DR stated we should create sanitary conditions during surgery he was mocked

 

Cocaine and heroin were common remedies for certain medical conditions 

 

At one point, if you were shot, the best thing to do was amputate 

 

When players were concussed, they were given smelling salts and told to get back out there

 

Most of this players in the 70s, 80s and 90s have several health issues including issues that cause death.
