wagne591 Posted 59 minutes ago Posted 59 minutes ago So as I was watching the game yesterday I had this thought. Rumors had it that Beane didn't trade our first round pick in 2026 hoping the Browns will trade Myles Garrett next offseason and Beane really wants him. But seeing how Joey Bosa is playing, and Nick coming off a torn ACL next year would you rather have both Bosa's at a much lower price with our first round pick in tack, or Myles Garrett and no first round pick? I know we would have to trade for Nick Bosa and we can probably get him for a third and a sixth or something and give the Bosa brothers a chance to play on the same team for a couple years. We would still have our first round pick for a WR hopefully to help JA17 (if Beane wakes up and drafts one). or We would have Myles Garrett a generational talent who is expensive and would tie our hands with his contract to bring in a receiver and we would lose our first round pick to the Browns. I know this is hypothetical and probably will never happen but for me I would take both Bosa brother's for sure. What is your opinion? Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted 50 minutes ago Posted 50 minutes ago Myles Garrett and it isnt even close. He is at a completely different level than practically everyone else. 2 Quote
Gregg Posted 48 minutes ago Posted 48 minutes ago Myles Garrett. If he stays healthy, he would be the one to catch Bruce for the all-time sacks leader. 1 Quote
IYKYK Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago Was at the Browns game yesterday. It was a real pleasure watching Garrett vs Trent Williams. Two future first round HOF’ers. For an older LT, Williams held his own against the best pass rusher in the NFL. 1 minute ago, Gregg said: Myles Garrett. KingBoots8 Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago I love Joey Bosa, but I would trade a hell of a lot for Garrett. Said the same thing last year. If you had any one non-qb player to bank on, that’s your guy. F them picks. Quote
17islongenough Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago Garrett is the best defensive player in the league. Could you imagine Garrett on a team that has leads? Would be nice to trade for him Quote
thenorthremembers Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago I cant stand Garrett the person. Id also be ok with the Bills giving up two 1sts for him. 1 1 Quote
RyanC883 Posted 41 minutes ago Posted 41 minutes ago man I hope this rumor is true, because otherwise, wanting a 2026 over a 2027 first is just rediculous given the 2027 class is widely regarded as better. still won't fix the WR room, however. Quote
T.E. Posted 41 minutes ago Posted 41 minutes ago I do not want this team to continue to sink tons of assets into the defensive line. They've been doing it nonstop for years, and they have one 10-sack pass rusher to show for it (Leonard Floyd). The scheme is clearly not designed to benefit pass rushers; I'm not even sure it places a ton of priority on defensive ends even getting to the QB. Quote

I do think that Jordan Philips had 10 sacks one year then got the big money deal from Arizona. But he was not a DE obviously. I think when Hoeth comes back next year also with the two Bosa's it would be good. I am a Garrett fan also don't get me wrong he is awesome. But with all of our above average contracts for mediocre players it would tie our hands for getting free agents and Bean hasn't shown that he can draft great players to fill the void if we were to get Garrett. I honestly would be good either way, but McD's Defense is where DE's come to die just like Brady's offense is where WR come to die. 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 24 minutes ago Posted 24 minutes ago I would rather have Myles Garrett. He’s the best player in this scenario and the best DE in football. The Bosa’s both have extensive injury history. Do I think the Browns are going to move Garrett no I don’t. I think scenario 2 is more feasible because I assume both would want to play together and Buffalo does seem like their type of city. Quote
