We win out, and we take the division. Not too crazy a scenario. Come on man. Just come to terms that NE is a damn good football team with a legit QB. It's ok bro. Every week people say NE could lose the game. This week people had the Giants beating them FFS. Like that was ever going to happen. I'm not going to sit here and say they won't lose another game but they aren't going to dump 3 games. Miami may have had a little streak but in years past we all know Tua and the fish dont play well in Dec/winter months. The answer is that on paper, no it isn't out of reach. Thinking logically about it is another story. Edited 50 minutes ago by Scott7975 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago The bengal will probably make the playoffs if they win out. Don’t live they come in knowing they can salvage their season. Really hope they can show better vs burrow this time. 1 Quote

Or JSN or Quienten Johnston. 3 of those would upgrade the roster for us instantly. We also needed LB which could have moved back and got Nolan Smith. We also needed CB, Joey Porter Jr. We didn't need a TE I'm not saying your wrong. I actually agree that another position would have benefited us. However, I think they were enticed by the idea of 2 pass catching TEs that could also help block. Its actually part of Brady's system to show same formations with them in that could either be passing or rushing. DCs have figured this out though and good ones seem to know the tells too. All that to say is that I think they actually wanted Kincaid and it wasn't some panic spend like another poster suggested. I could be wrong, but thats what I think. Reason being is that they have been wanting to run the football since McD got here and couldn't figure it out and that was the answer to a better run game for them while also giving them a pass catching target. balln Posted 40 minutes ago Posted 40 minutes ago (edited) so let me get this straight. He has been out with a hamstring. Hasn’t played. Hasn’t really practiced. And somehow with today’s walkthrough he has a knee AND hamstring listed. What is with the injury reports! This year has been very weird and suspicious. I love Sal trying to explain it away with nonsense Edited 40 minutes ago by balln Quote

Somehow that narrative changed. Folks and talking head fans now think we had a flukie gimmicky win against a terrible team that had no chance. I think that's wrong, but I also think the same narrative that the Bengals are back baby and that the Ravens are good are also wrong. I think we are going to roll over the Bengals come Sunday even without Bosa. Frankly, they beat a lost Ravens team that looks like they are already planning January holidays. Lamar was God awful. Burrow looked average. Lots of the short passes w poor coverage by Baltimore. Sure, the deep stuff to chase is there. But they kept taking care of sloppy Ravens goofs and lazy play. No one looked like they wanted to win near the end. Not me. I thought and think that Pitts was their typical mediocre team. I said early in the season that Rodgers is washed. They have a couple stars and thats about it. Personally, I don't think the Bills should have struggled as much as they did. As for the Bengals, they have a legit path to taking the division, as sick as that sounds its 100% true. They are going to play hard. Lamar sucked that game but some of it was caused by the Bengals D. I don't think their D is great or anything but they do have the ability to cause a bad play at the wrong time. Their offense is still elite and Burrow will have another week of practice. Higgins will probably be back as well. This is not a team that the offense can take a half of football to figure it out. Its not a team we want to play a close game with. We need to strike hard from the get go. When I say that, I dont mean they need to chuck bombs all over the field. I just mean that they need to score TDs by any means necessary. Whatever works, IDGAF. Just win the game. Quote

NE had just about 400 yards of offense on them but getting stopped on the goal line that 90 yard drive kinda tipped the points scale a bit. I think it was one of their highest yardage totals of the year Baltimore is a weird team I don’t think they’re good in the trenches on either side of the ball Quote

Well I guarantee the bills are going to run the same 3 running plays and try and play it safe with ground and pound. Especially w WR 1 and TE 1 not evening being able to complete a walk through fully. Still. I’m getting to the point where there’s no hope for a gameplan coming from McBrady to throw it / air raid …… McD wants to minimize his “hurt D” …. Just feeels like the same script over and over again. But worse Quote

Its completely feasible for them to win the division if they win out. Quote

But, I always wince when he gets tackled because it seems every 2nd or 3rd time he’s tackled he’s getting up slowly or grimacing. I don’t know if adding 10-15 lbs. of muscle could make him less injury prone, but he just seems way too fragile for a TE. Quote

Boatdrinks Posted 11 minutes ago Posted 11 minutes ago The Bengals playoff hopes don’t even hinge on winning @Buffalo . They must beat the Ravens in 2 weeks. If they lose there, they’re effectively finished. Quote
