Billsfed1 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Played around with the ESPN simulator a bunch this morning, generally this what I get: 1. Denver (14-3) 2. New England (14-3) 3. Indianapolis (12-5) 4. Baltimore (10-7) 5. Buffalo (11-6) 6. Kansas City (11-6) 7. Los Angeles (10-7) Edited 1 hour ago by Billsfed1 1 Quote
zow2 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago It's a week to week league. Matchups play a huge role in who wins many of these games. There isn't as many "hey, we out-talented you and won by 3 TD's" games these days. There are a handful of them. Miami and Atlanta have great RB's and exposed a Bills weakness. The O didn't come to play in either game. Houston's D overwhelmed the Bills. Stuff happens, we might actually match up really well against Pittsburgh, we'll see. 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don’t know how the tiebreakers will work, but 4-5 teams could be 10-7. If we lose at Pittsburgh season is over. We won’t get in unless we win out which we aren’t good enough to do. I’m not sure where 3 wins will come from. Cleveland, Bengals, Jets. 1 Quote
milfandcookies Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Losses to either Cincy/Pittsburgh, Eagles, Patriots… -9-7 on the final day of the season needing to beat the Jets and needing a loss from the Texans. -during the game they show the Texans score at the stadium and they are losing big! but… the Bills blow it and lose to the stinking Jets late in the last game at Rich Stadium and it’s chaos as everyone angerily rips that place apart. If they sweep us, it really will feel like a passing of the torch. It would be better psychologically to at least keep the division race close until the end, even if they are likely to win it this year. The torch has been passed and the sooner that's recognized, the sooner we can stop doing the same thing over and over hoping for a better outcome. 22 minutes ago, Big Blitz said: I don’t know how the tiebreakers will work, but 4-5 teams could be 10-7. machine gun kelly Posted 12 minutes ago Posted 12 minutes ago (edited) Ive been griping on the board this morning and Im not feeling better about it, so my go to when im this frustrated and angry and is give TBD a break for a couple of days. It’s not that i don't like you guys, I'm just too frustrated right now. My only hope is we pull it together and finish 11-6, but the delusions of 12-5, to 13-4 are gone. The AFCEW is gone. We can merely hope for a wildcard and maybe with Oliver back, Benford healthy, Bosa’s hand healed up, and McD taking full control of the defense can mayb get us a wildcard win, and like always a division loss. If Terry doesnt wise up for some serious changes, he reaps what he sows. Edited 12 minutes ago by machine gun kelly Quote

All of the WC potential teams have pretty tough schedules. Not having the tiebreaker against Houston is tricky, but they also have a tough schedule and sit with 5 losses currently. PIT - W CIN - L NE - W CLE - W PHI - L NY - L, WC wrapped up and we don’t care about seeding I'd flip the NE and Cinci results. Otherwise looks about like I see it unfolding. The wins won't come easy with this tired, fragile roster but they should get to 10 wins. Quote

I'm not ruling out that the Bills go on a roll as most of their upcoming games are either favorable match ups from a talent aspect - the Steelers & Bengal's may have the worst defenses the Bills have seen this season and Cleveland's offense is so inept that the 19 points the Bills scored yesterday would likely lead to a two score win over the Browns. They get the Eagles at home and the Jets will be running for the bus. That leaves NE which is on paper the Bills toughest remaining game. 5 - 1 is not out of the question and 4 -2 seems very doable. Burrow will be back. Bills don't win that game Weather could be a big issue and that Bengal's D is historically bad making the Bills D look like the 1985 Bears. With the game being in Buffalo if it gets into a shoot out it will resemble the Tampa Bay game with the Bills coming out on top. Quote
