Sure, but he’s consistently … I mean over years .. been calling out the Bills Front Office for the team they’ve built around Allen and how it’s not on the level of his peers.

From a physical pov Randy Moss and Megatron better than Rice was. Yet didn't have benefit of coaching under Walsh who a top 10 NFL coach and arguably top 5 offensive minds.

Technically it's greatest players not most talented

If it was you could throw guys like Michael Vick up there

Those guys (megatron/moss) are definitely better athletes than Jerry Rice and super talented.. Jerry Rice is the best football player I've ever seen

He made everything look easy and is arguably the greatest route runner of all time.. holds the most NFL records all time..

Most touchdowns from scrimmage all time, most yards from scrimmage all time

He would be my pick as number one greatest player ever

Honestly Josh has a lot of time left but I am very tempted to put him on my list of top five greatest football players ever already

To be fair I'll start him at 5 just because he has so much time left

5- Josh Allen

4-deion Sanders

3- Lawrence Taylor

2- Barry sanders

1- Jerry Rice

There are many great players to choose from. Jim Brown, Reggie White and Bruce Smith to name a few who could make the top 5. Even though he turned out to be a POS nobody can deny that OJ was one of the greatest RBs to ever play the game

This. The Bills run D actually does a good job on most downs. Its those long runs that happen a couple times a game that skew everything.

if you take out Stalingrad, Moscow and Kursk, the German army performed quite well on the Eastern front in WW2

Absolutely I didn't watch Jim Brown so can't include him on the list

Bruce and OJ would definitely be in top 10.. but I think Lawrence Taylor was a little bit more dominant defensively

Bruce is absolutely one of the best probably top two defensive ends ever him and Reggie

Give me the Bills plan over Bengals plan each and everytime.

Does Myles Garrett fall in Bruce Smith level? Or because he's on lesser teams does he rank lower?

I'd argue we have a top 5 RB and top 5 OL in the league. While we don't have a NFL #1 WR our WRs on the whole as a group above average. When Kincaid is in there he's a top 10 TE. Knox is an average #2 TE. So as a whole I think our offensive talent might be top 15 QB which hardly horrible. Just average. I'mMaybe I'm a homer in this thinking but an curious your thoughts on more talented teams? As teams like Cincy and Miami have better WRs they don't have the OL. Philly might have best starters in the league but depth to me weaker etc.

top 3 qb (and it's not 3 or 2), top 3-5 Oline, top 5 RB room, and i'll say top 5 TE room with dalty kinky in there (his numbers are just insane this year, and knox is an nfl 2 and howes is a moving truck).   that's why i pine for jumbo sets and under center play, even tho allen doesn't like it as much, his numbers out of that and in play action are disgusting, and our run is sick, altho fell off the last two weeks.

the one criticism is our total lack of outside wr talent.  we are celebrating josh palmer, shavers, and one legged gabe davis being our saviors there as of last week.  just one WR on the outside with like top 25 talent would electrify this offensive football team to a silly degree, and by accounts we coulda had waddle for a 2026 1st and another pick, which woulda been like the 32nd pick in the draft if we had him on this team.  i think that's the frustration w beany, since it was so clearly there for us as a problem and a possible solution.

He's probably the only guy who could crack 200 sacks

I'll agree with your points but even without a top end outside WR we've had a top end offense. To me a top end NT to me make us a better team though. And no Ed Oliver is not a top end NT to me.

if garrett keeps it up for another like 8 seasons he can be as good or better than bruce, which goes to show how insane smith was.

white and taylor and d thomas were all insane otherworldly talents, but none of them were as good as bruce IMO.  he was a wrecking crew pass rusher and sick vs the run as a 3-4 end.  the only guy close to that from that position since was jj watt, he was a monster and he was clearly head and shoulders below bruce.

i remember a game, i think a prime time game, where pittz had dermonte dawson (hof c) and i think something was said in the media and bruce slid over to him on one play and turned him into a cross between an effete and slinky ballerina and a loose turnstile.  the announcers even commented how shockingly easily bruce just walked past him on that play.  if you put smith on this team starting the same year as allen the debate would be if the current bills have a chance to be the greatest dynasty ever.

Oh I get it, to me Bruce the best Buffalo Bill of all time. Josh could surpass him if keeps playing as has since 2020 and wins us that covered Lombardi.

I like Josh, but he isn't there for me yet.

You could get to #50 and still be rattling off some amazing talent.

I'd argue that, while more talented, neither Moss nor Megatron had Rice's drive and determination.

Pat Mahomes, Aaron Donald, Peyton Manning, and Reggie White could be considered for such a list as well, I think. The old timers might include Jim Brown.

I'm not trying to remove them. I'm saying the Bills need to stop that portion of it. If they stopped those long 50 yard runs that happen a couple times a game then their run defense would actually be decent.

Aaron Donald absolutely

There have been so many elite players over a hundred years it's really hard to nail down at top five

I'm sure everybody over 75 would name Jim Brown

Garrett is a beast. What a wasted career on that dumpster fire team.

Allen is the most productive offensive player in NFL history. I would be ok if somebody called out Jim Brown, because it's similar when you look at era and positional impact. Allen, like Brown, could play for any team, any group of players, and that team would instantly be a top 10 unit. His individual contribution is that strong. I have wanted to better understand Allen's off script production for years now as it's clear a very large % of his production is not within the play design. For all these reasons it makes it very hard to evaluate our coaches and GM and other roster talent. He's play's in a way that nobody else ever has been able to do at his level.
