Are you implying they are tanking? Going up 3 would have been good which was proved by the way the Commanders D played the next series

At 4-7 the Dolphins wouldn't be out of the playoff picture 

 

Their next 2 games are Saints and Jets 

 

Anyone around .500 in December has a shot

field completely flipped the other side....Commanders were driving 1st and goal...and now the Dolphins are inches away from scoring.

They would have to win out. They'll get "in the hunt" when they win those games, and then very quickly out of the hunt when they finish with Steelers, Bengals, Bucs, and Pats.

Not tanking, but they don't care if they lose either. Look at how Miami did the same thing on 4th and goal.
