Dawkins is just another player, he doesn’t run this team, he doesn’t cut or trade anyone. In the interview that's up on the Bills site, Dawkins did not say "it's his last chance". He said "let's just say that this is the last time, and move on" (in context pretty clear "last time" means "last time you're late to a meeting" Edited 1 hour ago by Beck Water Quote

IMO there was no reason to go public... words said to Coleman in private by a "respected team leader" should suffice. Dion has 4 false starts and 2 holding penalties and is playing at a lower level than last year but I guess when you get the keys to the city, you can say what you want when you want, regardless of your own performance. Dawkins has been a solid player and a leader on this team for years. Maybe this is the way to get through the Coleman since initially discussions have fallen on deaf ears. I realize Macy’s had a sale on shorts and flip flops now that weather has turned, but the fans have been sick of his bull#### for a while and now his teammates are too. Quote

You see... the Macy's comments are a dead giveaway. Regardless, I disagree with you but whatever. As I said, lots of people are fed up with Coleman so they'll gladly side with Dawkins, rightly or wrongly. Quote

Using past comments and behavior to justify why a person acts a certain way? If you make ridiculous comments in your introductory presser and don’t back it up on the field, it is going to be brought up. Edited 1 hour ago by uticaclub 1 Quote

But they havent sufficed. They've all been coaching him up in private for over a year, and he's still showing up late. You continue to ignore the support and continue to disrespect the entire team, then you lose the grace of keeping things private. Dion has earned the right to make mistakes. No one wants mistakes, but he shows up and works hard and plays hard. Beyond that, mistakes happen, and can be begrudgingly absorbed and accepted when the player is actually trying and working. Any mistakes in Dion's performance can be overlooked considering he did the work to make himself available to ACTUALLY PERFORM, and not get benched for bad decisions my 7 year old doesnt even make. 1 Quote

It’s an award he made lol. Yeah he wins it. im just offering the perspective on the other side here. Coleman was on that sideline and watched the game. He saw Dawkins jump Offside twice. And then take the mic and rip HIM for making a mistake! Quote
