You can't. You can think it. And you might be right. I am not even saying I disagree with you. But you can't guarantee it.

Fair. I cooled down over the week. Usually over a loss by Tuesday. Especially something like a division loss, where it was 'their SB', we get outplayed, but had some mistakes.

Last week wasn't even the blowout, it was the 53 man,  emotionless, walking corpse.

Today was ugly but it was a win against a good (not great) team. We can build on that, theres something to look forward to. We quite literally cant have another let down game like that again. We don't control our destiny with 1-seed, but we keep winning and we could get back in driver seat.

I only read for two pages before I saw names like Kevin Stefanski and Jon Gruden for head coach and Wade Phillips as our DC.

What the actual *****. You’re all showing your ass.

Looks like Bills fans are going to be in competition with the Chiefs fans cleaning house mindset...

seems they think their coaches now suck, Andy  is living in the past and mahomey has regressed a great deal.

interesting....

I called it earlier in the year. Their offense right now is poorly coordinated. I know criticising Andy Reid is almost blasphomy but honestly watch a Chiefs game right now and tell me the offensive gameplan makes sense. There are some personnel issues there up front, they don't have a running back worth a dime and their receivers while all talented are a bit "samey". But the number of plays where they end up with guys banging into each other etc suggests the scheming isn't on point either.

It isn't "fire Andy" time and I still wouldn't rule out them running the table but I thought this offense could be back to an explosive KC offense and right now it looks miles off that.

Go on the Chiefs message board

Tons are over Reid and wants spagnola running it hahahaga

Oh Lord please let that happen somehow

But yes the Chiefs offense was out of whack last year  and it's not getting insanely better.. it has some good games but no consistent run game will hurt them

Even Reid heats it from their fans which is crazy

The people who don't like McDermott's in game management but want Stefanski have clearly never watched a Browns game.

I guess Kurt Warner has been saying that the Offensive play calling makes no sense this year.    I hear he's been calling them out on it all year.

They're 2nd in the league in offensive EPA

They've now lost I think 5 one score games this year? Last year weren't they like 8-1 in those? Forget the numbers but anyways. A few man games lost due to injury/suspension, aging Kelce, some weird OL issues (they paid league highs to guys that arent playing to that level), and I think it makes sense. W/L is razor sharp in the margins. I think they could lose to Indy next week and still run the table to squeak in at 11-6. Even with their poor play I don't see them losing more than 2 games which has them in the hunt at 10-7. Going to be interesting.

Kevin Stefanski has been atrocious. He’s an offensive-minded head coach, yet the Browns have scored under 20 points in 22 of their last 27 games.

He’s also directly responsible for the Browns bungling the quarterback position. He moved on from Baker, was part of the decision to pursue Watson, and hand-picked Dillon Gabriel. The fact that he’ll likely be back next year feels like outright malpractice.

People here love to complain about McDermott’s “lack of accountability,” but Stefanski has now started back-to-back seasons calling plays, watched the offense fall flat, and then handed play-calling off to his OC halfway through the year. Last year Dorsey was fired, and I’m almost certain he’s going to do the same to Tommy Rees after this season.

The only name this cycle that really excites me is Chris Shula (LAR); everything else feels pretty underwhelming to me. I’d have at least some interest in Todd Monken (BAL), Jesse Minter (LAC), or Klint Kubiak (SEA). And in a few years, guys like Webb (DEN), Scheelhaase (LAR),  Grizzard (TB) or McCown (MIN) might be viable options.

Honestly, the only thing that could make me consider moving on from McDermott this offseason is if the chatter about Matt LaFleur’s seat actually being warm turns out to be true.
