But nooooo, we had to select Landon Jackson.

Wrong draft, but same sentiment.

We drafted Dewayne Carter instead.

Believe what exactly? I believe there's a screenshot of the text. Are you saying that you don't think Josh meant it?

Yes, the team informed Josh they would select Coleman with the first pick of Day 2. As a supportive teammate, Josh responded with a text. Do you think Allen studies college tape so closely that he actually preferred Keon over Ladd?

In the context of perhaps dozens of posts here at TSW and on X calling into question Coleman's effort, your thought that the question was "fed" to the reporter is really weird.

Who would feed him the question?

Why?

I Wasn’t aware that it was a known issue, this was the first I heard about it.

The reason the team would feed a question like that to a reporter would be so that the issue became public without the team being the one that brought it up. Obviously that wasn’t the case here.

are we pretending that politics aren’t at play in the NFL 🤣

How about this... Josh said what he said.

I'm not gonna speculate on the sincerity of Josh's statement or the degree to which he follows wide receiver prospects.

And I'm not gonna write a 6 paragraph reason why I think he wasn't sincere.

Fair enough?

Trust me these are the same people who watch Hard Knocks in amazement at footage of Beane and the scouts saying nice things predraft about every single guy we end up taking

I'm saying that the simpler more logical explanation is probably closer to the truth than the conspiracy theory involving a team operative feeding questions to the media. 🤣

This will be his last year here. I'm not even being that critical of his effort. It's just when you combine everything, the effort, the lack of a connection with Allen, the struggles in this offense, it just makes sense for everyone to get a fresh start. We'll trade him for a sixth round pick or something in the off-season.

Coleman will probably want it, and so will the bills.

Fancy being blessed by way of being paired with a future HOF QB and your response is to pick and choose when to apply maximum effort in metered doses.

Boy has this season quickly degenerated into a shower of poo.

This actually shouldn't be coming up. EVEN as a rumor!

This is monumentally bad. A complete bust of a pick. Waive him in the off season. His game, and apparently effort, are not worth a damn.

He is not the only player is not giving his all.  I think that he has talent but the young man needs a mentor, older WR who can sit down with him and tell him how to play the game.  Go all out on every play.  I watch plenty of football and he is not the only WR on the opposite of the play that is not hustling.  If he flames out, it is because he does not have the dawg behavior.  Coleman is looking at an off season where the Bills will try to upgrade the WR spot putting his career in jeopardy.
