Be fair I played football for 20 years and I think I got that look all the time lol definitely think I got CTE

Does that mean I'm always toast?

You aren’t Josh, sorry. Your faraway looks are irrelevant.

It's a joke Shirley

Josh has had the same looks on his face for 8 years .. this is not something that's new this year

Allen certainly handles pressure better than 98% of NFL quarterbacks but again he could be the best ever if he got it all together consistently

Except when you actually watch the all 22 many times the problem is Allen more than the WRs not getting open.

In the 3 losses, Allen not making "layup" throws that he usually takes or being mentally prepared or simply missing things he almost never misses were far bigger issues than anything else.

According to you.  I don't doubt that you can find examples of Allen not taking the layups but that this was the man problem in the 3 losses? Color me skeptical.  And when people claim it's not the WR's or Offensive structure but Allen, I don't by it because I don't see much evidence of it.

And that’s scary to me.  I always felt Josh could get down on himself or outside stuff, and it affects his game.  He’s human. But he’s getting paid a king’s ransom to get his head out of his ass and elevate those around him.

So are you saying Allen isn't earning his money?  Is this compared to the other top QB's? All I know is that Allen has been constantly elevating those around him since his rookie season but at some point even after elevating a guy they still are way below average.

If it wasn’t clear to you, I was referring to those times when he has that defeated look on his face. You think Y A Tittle got all dreamy on the sideline? He was a man, dammit.

You mean like the defeated face he got on the sidelines in the 13 second playoff loss when first the Chiefs tied the game at the end and then won it with a TD in OT? Yea he gets those faces once and a while as do other top QB's.

I was primarily criticizing your saying that Allen needs to earn his money and elevate those around him when all I've ever seen is Allen doing this.

I remember when I was a teenager during the Kelly years. My dad used to say "uh oh Kelly has the potato salad look on his face." I swear every time he said that we had a bad game.

Tom Brady had that look at points too.. same with Peyton Manning and Patrick mahomes

It definitely is never there at the start of the game

When you see that, things are going to be an uphill battle... It's human nature to get potato face

Especially when you're getting cracked by 300 lb men.. nobody is smiling

It sucks.. competitors hate to lose.. That's just called the writing is on the wall

But Josh also brought us back from 15 points with like 4 minutes left.. he certainly does not hang it up and call it a day

No, not that one. The other one.

Someone needs to slap him out of it when he gets those faces. They have a shrink on the sideline. She needs to be talking to him during those times LOL. I can have my wife give him the business when he’s all pouty.

Yeah I see the look a lot. It’s not always a bad look. I even see it in games we are winning. I just thought I’d add a story.

lol. I was just getting into football and the end of his time here. I don’t remember much of the Ferguson years. I think my first game at the stadium might have been with him. Not sure. I remember it was against the Jets and we were pounded with snow. I also remember it was so cold my dads beer was all frozen but he was still drinking the slush hahah

Help. Got a chance to go to the game tomorrow. I wanted to see a game the last year the stadium is open. I live in NC now, moved from Hamburg mid 90’s, so it’s been a while I have made it up for a game. Any advice on parking? I drove down southwestern and there doesn’t seem like there are many private lots anymore. Just me, so not going to be going super early to tailgate. Thanks!

Im not going to be all that much help as I havent gone to a game in a few years. I have driven by there though and I have seen there is still private parking in the area. I think it was like 50 bucks when I looked though.

Definitely went to games like that with my old man. The Bills beat the Colts 6-0 in a snowstorm  in 74, and my father was only wearing a top coat. He was shivering like crazy. Couldn’t see the field at times.

Looks like I was wrong on Hardman. Didn't think they would do that this soon. We are going to see a different offense this week folks.

Time to open it up no huddle

Let's go Josh!!!!

Worth the watch. He goes into our terrible pass game.

https://heavy.com/sports/nfl/buffalo-bills/bills-mcdermott-reveals-plan-mecole-hardman/

Bills Looking to Use Mecole Hardman’s Speed

General manager Brandon Beane put together a wide receiving corps filled with physical wide receivers with blocking versatility, but the group has struggled to get separation and left Allen facing mounting pressure from opposing defenses.

McDermott hinted that the speedy Hardman can change that dynamic a bit, giving the Bills a deep threat who can keep opposing defenses honest. The Bills head coach also implied that the Bills may find some creative ways to use Hardman, similar to the way they utilized receivers like Isaiah McKenzie in the past.

“Excited about that,” McDermott said of Hardman’s signing, via the Buffalo News. “You look at position flexibility, he brings some of that. The speed element is real, having gone against him. He hasn’t played in a little bit of time here, so we have to take it one day at a time, but I’m really interested in seeing how he’s going to help us.”

Hardman is a three-time Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs, racking up 2,302 career yards with 16 touchdowns.

The vetearn receiver said he’s excited for his new opportunity in Buffalo.

“I’m glad to be here and they welcomed me with open arms, so I’m happy about that,” Hardman said, via Buffalo’s WGZR. “They’re definitely joking with me about the past matches that we had in the years, but it’s fun. I’m enjoying it … I’m happy that they called and gave me a chance and opportunity, so I’m grateful for that.”
