AFC East after Week 14 in 2021 and 2023

Some people seem to think that the Bills having competition for the AFC East is a new phenomenon. Just as a reminder, here were the standings after Week 14 in a few of the past couple of seasons:

In both cases, the Bills were two games back with four games to play. So, having competition for the division is not new for the Josh Allen-led Bills.

In a world of constant change, it is nice to have something that remains consistent year after year.

I don't think the Patriots will win the division and that's all I got to say about that.

Let’s hope we don’t end up at 7-6 again before we win the division, it’s criminal really how those teams ended up those positions considering the talent they had, some of the losses like 9-3 to the jags were baffling

I think we still win the division but this year feels different. The pats are legit good and Maye is the real deal. The year when Miami had the division it took perfection from the Bills and an epic collapse from Miami. We kind of knew Miami would collapse though. The Pats have a soft ass schedule.

In both cases, the Bills were two games back with four games to play. So, having competition for the division is not new for the Josh Allen-led Bills.

That win streak to close out the 2023 season was one of McDermott’s finest moments as a coach. Winning 6 of the last 7 games and taking the division away from Miami in week 18 was a thing of beauty. NOBODY had the Bills winning the AFCE and i mean absolutely no one.
