Billsfed1 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) I see all the “experts” going on about how devastating it would be for either the Chiefs or Bills to lose on Sunday, but the flip side nobody is talking about; Before kickoff on Sunday we’ll know the outcome of the Patriots/Falcons. Atlanta has a sneaky good D (2nd in the NFL in yards surrendered) and has an explosive offense at times. This is not a gimmie game for the Pats. It would be rather funny to leapfrog the Pats on Sunday despite them having the head to head advantage at this point. Edited 22 hours ago by Billsfed1 Quote
Chaos Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I did not watch the Dolphins/Falcons game. What happened there? 1 Quote
Success Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Falcons are pretty banged up, and it's in New England. I expect a few wheels to fall off of the imaginary Patriots resurgence - but my hunch is that they pull out a W on Sunday and the media continues the "they're back!" frenzy. 2 1 Quote

Sojourner Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Good call but if they Falcons roll out Cousins again I don’t see them winning. Dude looks a shell of himself. 1 Quote

The Pats even in this circumstance has the head to head on us. We have to also beat the Pats in Foxborough. Quote

Koufax Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago We have earned the right to not get over stressed about October games and October standings. We should try to go 1-0 this week but if we do we aren't a Super Bowl lock, and if we don't we aren't a bust. 6-2 is better than 5-3, but both are on track to play a really important game in January somewhere that we can worry more about the narrative and impact of the outcome. Go Bills. 3 Quote
NeverOutNick Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Pats are playing good football right now. I don’t think they’ll lose to the falcons. There HC is Vrabel not McDoucher 1 1 Quote

But I’m with you in that they can, and will, lose more games. Bills will end up winning the division and they’ll be the wildcard. Quote

Their other wins were pretty good. Should they be 3.5-2 instead of 6-2? Edited 12 hours ago by Psautcsk 1 Quote
4th&long Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Wouldn't the pats have to lose? The bills would tie them with the pats having the tie braker. Quote
ProcessTruster Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Pretty sure Mahomes lights up the Bills D this week. Hairston/Benford/Bosa would need to be excellent in man coverage / pass rush all game for that not to happen. 1 Quote
seannc Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago On the other hand, should the Bills lose and the Pats, Jags, Chargers, and Broncos win (taken individually, these are all likely outcomes), the Bills will be looking up at a lot of teams in the standings. Quote

The Patriots may be the darlings of the media for awhile with the light schedule, especially if we take an L to the Chiefs. The Dolphins were like that two years ago and were as far ahead as three games, but eventually, we took the division. Granted, Maye is better than Tua and some positions have legitimate talent concerns, but there is still plenty of season left. 1 Quote

It’s giving me pretty strong dolphins vibes…I think the pats floor is pretty good though while the dolphins got figured out and just couldn’t adapt. Someone is gonna pick up on some tendencies with their offense and they’re gonna hit a rough patch I think Quote

Commanders covered up the designed plays pretty well but I don’t think they had enough experience against kc to know how they like to adjust their routes in the scramble drill type situations though it was a really interesting game last week…as bad as the result ended up being I don’t think they were too far off from having a good defensive game if that makes any sense 😂 3 hours ago, 4th&long said: Wouldn't the pats have to lose? Yea they would…doesn’t really mean much of anything when the teams have a rematch against eachother and different amounts of games played anyway Quote
Livinginthepast Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Atlanta are a bad team that apparently had their SB against us. Instead of spanking them badly we enabled them with our unpreparedness in that game. I think NE will handle them easily if Maye doesnt get injured. 2 Quote
