frostbitmic Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Hard to beat a Billion dollar pitching rotation, I guess you do get what you pay for ... Championships. The Blue Jays left 14 runners on base through 9 innings, that's what you call non clutch hitting. 1 Quote

So sad 😭 1 Quote
LabattBlue Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) A lot of fingers can be pointed for why the Blue Jays lost. One I came across…while a lot are questioning why IKF didn’t have a bigger lead off 3rd at time of contact, WTF was the 3rd base coach doing, not telling him to get a bigger lead. He was practically standing on the bag. If he has even a 5-7 ft lead, he is safe at home and the Jays win the WS. Edited 11 hours ago by LabattBlue 1 Quote

Their players don’t deserve the boos but their organization does. You’re not wrong, but in a sport without a salary cap, isn’t this the only way to win? There’s a reason baseball is dominated by NY, LA, and Texas teams. Teams like Pittsburgh don’t have a prayer. College football has a more parody, and that’s not saying much. I love baseball as a sport, but this has driven me away from watching MLB. Quote

They ran bases like a bunch of drunk dads playing beer league softball. Poor decisions, slow unathletic dudes, and confused base coaches. That was the difference in the series. Quote

There were so many missed opportunities Having said that I thought the catchers foot lifted off the bag , It was close and Im probably wrong about that. I wear homer glasses I feel for the Jays fans today. They dodgers snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/mlb/breaking-news/article/world-series-2025-isiah-kiner-falefa-explains-why-he-didnt-take-a-bigger-lead-before-pivotal-force-out-at-home-145735970.html Edited 8 hours ago by muppy 1 Quote

At minimum, he could have taken a lead equal to the distance Muncy was from 3rd base. Instead, it appears IKF was crazy close to 3rd upon contact. Edited 7 hours ago by LabattBlue Quote

Today I just feel bad form them. AND living so close to LA I know a ton of self righteous Dodger fans. Blech Quote
