Have you forgotten the drop by Charles "hands of Clay" Sorry. Its the same parallel story as written by Brandon Beane. It appears that Keon has lost all confidence. Former Wide Receiver Steve Smith Sr., says that Keon will never have it as he was never a #1. Hes being misused by Buffalo and lost all confidence. Steve has a podcast on it. Put the blame on Brandon Beane. Just like the other #1 in Dallas. They DONT love him either. Kaiir Elam is Making the Front Office look Awful Quote

Even at his current disappointing level, we've at least gotten a couple of TDs out of Keon. More than we ever got out of those other 2. And I'd argue we passed up on much better players with those other 2. 1 Quote

Steve Smith says a lot of truly ridiculous ***** every time he is on camera......it's often reminiscent of listening to Art Wander back in the days.........but he is spot on about Keon just not playing the position well. The details and determination make all the difference for those WR's who can't run a 4.3. 3 Quote

Coleman is having a MUCH better second season statistically than Adams did. That's how slow Adams career started. And that is with a pinpoint, HoF passer in Aaron Rodgers after having caught over 230 passes for 3,000+ yards and 38 TD's at Fresno State. As I said when they drafted Coleman.........he's got that physical profile but it won't be easy to get there. Quote

Yeah and when the light came on for Adams it wasn't exactly 1998 Eric Moulds. Still took him another few years to go from a fringe 900-1,000 yard guy to elite. But 12 years into his career he's still really good. Quote

Definitely took him some time, though. As I've said elsewhere, I really wish the Bills traded for him last season. Maybe it was implausible contract wise, but I'm of a mind that everything can be maneuvered in that realm to make it work. 1 Quote

However, if it were to mean something, the first clock may apply to Simmons. But he posted it again, specifically quote replying to Coleman's post. That wouldn't be about Simmons - whatever it's meant to imply. It could still be about Simmons. The context was that Coleman was laughing at a Bills follower for bringing HIS name......perhaps because his agent has an actual $100M player whose name has been mentioned all fall as a deadline target. What's Keon going to net in a trade right now? A late pick swap? Not viable timing for a trade or a time for an agent to draw attention to himself. If Simmons gets dealt for a valuable pick because teams want him that's positive advertising for the agent. When a guy gets dumped to a team that's like "yeah, I'll try that for $1" that's not really good agent advertising. Quote

Elam was a 1st round pick and single-handedly blew up our defense any time the team was forced to put him on the field. Coleman is not in the same stratosphere as Elam. I mean, seriously, other WRs that were taken in the same range as Coleman in Coleman's draft were already traded for nothing lol. If Coleman went down as Beane's worst pick, he'd be the best GM in the league. Quote

A few years earlier and I would say drafting him was what caused the dinosaurs to go extinct. Dallas is starving for corners and with him playing, WRs are wide open running down the middle of the field. Quote
Ayjent Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) They need to put Coleman in the slot more and see if that helps. Problem is that they don't have a whole lot on the outside even with Palmer healthy. They've put together an odd mix of talent at WR that has a lot of different attributes, but they don't seem to utilize those different talents in a complimentary way to get the most out of them. Yes its not the most talented bunch, but I feel like they should be better than they are if the coordination of the passing game was a little more deliberate. It seems like they are all willing and able blockers which is not a bad thing, but not really the thing you want to say they do best. I think Coleman has skill and has had 100+ yd games, it is a consistency thing and being put in a position to succeed. . Edited 2 hours ago by Ayjent Quote
