What morning show do you believe was the beneficiary of a Kimmel lead-in? Should be an easy one to answer unless you are out of your depth.

GMA.

This is ridiculous.  Utterly ridiculous. By your logic, any lie is subject to license forfeiture.  How will a clip of even one of Trump's many lies be shown on an evening news program under that paradigm?

It's not my logic, it's directly from the FCC Chairman.

“It was appearing to directly mislead the American public about a significant fact that probably one of the most significant political events we’ve had in a long time, for the most significant political assassination we’ve seen in a long time,” he said.

“Squawk the Street” anchor Carl Quintanilla asked Carr about that on Thursday.

“I asked earlier about Fallon and Seth Meyers, but is the President’s view that they should also be taken off the air, shared by the FCC?” Quintanilla asked.

Carr replied,“I don’t speak for the President, so he speaks to himself on that.”

“Our goal and our obligation here is to make sure that broadcasters are serving the public interest,” Carr said.

“And I would simply say we’re not done yet with seeing the consequences of that,” he said.

CNBC anchor David Faber followed up on that.

“What does that mean when you say you’re done yet?” Faber asked. “Then, I mean, will you only be pleased when none of these comedians have a show on broadcast television?”

Carr replied, “No, it’s not any particular show or any particular person. It’s just we’re in the midst of a very disruptive moment right now, and I just, frankly, expect that we’re going to continue to see changes in the media ecosystem.

Are you saying that when the Kimmel show wrapped up on a nightly basis good morning America started right behind it? Or is there a several hour gap lead-in that I am not familiar with?

Hard to believe you hit send on that.

regarding the profitability of the Kimmel show that you want to imagine is real –it was reported that Colbert was losing 40 million a year. I’m sure Kimmel was raking it in.

you are out of your depth

Kimmel should be given a new show on the Blackface Channel.

I truly hope he is willing to explain the mechanism of the television lead-in that includes a six hour gap between shows. GOOD HEAVENS!

Nope.  You're out of your depth.  Channel left on ABC at night turns on to ABC in the morning.  And they see the promos for ABC morning programming on ABC at night.

Maybe cable providers can place it right next to Trump's show on the Epstein Network.

Based on what you've put forth here, that's a hoax.  Are you the guy who is supposed to be looking for those FCC rules that were violated by Kimmel?  How's that coming?

I have posted more than once the direct quotes from the FCC Chairman.

This is FANTASTIC!! Being an ultra partisan doesn’t mean you have to make yourself look like a dipsh*t. Please slow down and stop doing this to yourself. It’s embarrassing.

I completely forgot about that!!

Dems: That is not racist.

Now THAT would be cancel culture. Canceling him now for something he did over a decade ago.

"Complaining" and "threatening licensure with the FCC" are two vastly different things, which you either know or should know.

Ah ok.  I’m sure they felt no pressure of govt retribution at all. Got it.

Cool.  What about the rules?  Or is that not something that you're capable of finding on your own?

Yeah no.  You got schooled so you started with the insults.  On brand for you.

I also posted that earlier.

So the guy that heads the FCC doesn’t know the rules?

I like that you believe this. Good morning America benefits by the entire Kimmel audience turning their TV off immediately after the show and then tuning back in first thing in the morning. No channel changers amongst the Kimmelites. No wonder GMA has the highest morning ratings!

did you ever imagine yourself arguing that a six hour pause between TV shows serves as a lead in just because you are passionate about your politics? Effing weird.

Tell me the rules if it's so easy.  Put your finger on it.   I'm all ears.

And then get to the rule in which making an unkind political remark should threaten the license.  Normally, and I realize you're versed in such matters, such as thing might result in a fine.  If that.   But stripping the license?  Woof.  Big leap.  So let's see the rule.

Typical hyperbole.  Nobody said "entire."  But it helps.  It's a good lead in.  Again, you got schooled, you're out of your depth, and you gotta resort to insults.

Tucker is now woke.

Tucker Carlson on Wednesday used the opening monologue of his show to stridently push back against the Trump administration’s onslaught against free speech ― even going so far as to call out Attorney General Pam Bondi for using Charlie Kirk’s death as its pretext.

“Charlie was a free speech champion,” Carlson noted. “Absolutely he was. And I pray that that’s his legacy.”

It’s not a lead in at all. You don’t understand what a lead in is. You’ve lost the plot. Out of your depth. Truly dimwitted.

you should make sure you tell all your friends that Jimmy Kimmel was probably profitable and served as a good lead in for a morning show that starts six hours later.
