It's really been uncanny how the chips have fallen the Bills' way in the first two weeks of the season.

The Bills' only games this season against teams that are currently 2-0 are Cincinnati (week 14) and Philly (week 17) plus possibly Tampa Bay (week 11) (1-0 and playing tonight).  We're 2 games up on Kansas City a game up on Baltimore with the tiebreaker, and 2 games up on the entire division except New England because, well, someone had to win that MIA-NE game yesterday.

It's too early to get excited by all this and I'm risking putting a Jim Nantz kicker hex on it by talking about it, but how often do you remember everything going the Bills' way around the league?  The last time I remember this happening was Week 17 in 2017.

There are 15 games left to play, and 16 weeks left in the season.  It's not up to you, my friend, to go around risking that hex you mentioned.  Enjoy the games and keep your happy thoughts to yourself.  Team discipline!

What I like is that this team is not playing mistake free football, but is still winning. Teams that play their best football in September generally don’t have deep runs in the playoffs. The fact that we’re missing starters on defense, and the suspensions…. It is going to leave this team in very good shape towards the end of the year…..

Hoecht IMO is going to be such a hugeeeeee add.  We're missing his versatility, its going to be a key to this defense.  It allows us to hide what we want to bring.  Hes got juice rushing the passer, and very good in the run game (something we're going to need in playoffs so much)...  Hey suspension is helping manage his load already

Bengals could have lost one or two. Other than that, great start.

They lost Burrow, that's better than losing one or two.

I just hope that the chiefs lose every game that Taylor Swift attends so eventually we dont have to endure the spectacle any longer

I for one was ROFLMAO when Travis handed the ball to the Eagles in the endzone.  Karma is a female dog.

Beware the Chargers...

I called it before the season started. They will win the AFC West and will play at Highmark for the AFC Championship

From the NFC side of things GB looks great. It's early and a lot of football to be played but right now GB looks like the best team in the NFC and maybe the league.

Agreed. Super physical defense

Love is still a work in progress and is the type of QB that McDermott's defense can give him trouble. Bills defense by all accounts is confusing to read and Love will not have seen it before. At least I dont think he has played the Bills before.

The Ravens miracle is something that has catapulted the Bills into the public perception of being on a level with the Eagles as favorites to get to a SB. The Jets obliteration showed that this team has a multi dimensional  offense that can win in different ways. The schedule seems conducive to getting a path to vital home field games in the playoffs but some teams will be challenging( Bucs,Chiefs, Falcons, Steelers, Eagles) especially if we have injuries. My worry is that all these teams will look at the Bills as their SB and play above their pedestrian level and we will not be adequately prepared on a week to week basis.

Before the 2024 season, GB was my super bowl pick for the NFC. They ended up with too many injuries, though. I think they're the most likely team to go this year, but I also think the Rams are a respectable pick. Philly of course too.
