Seems like he gets really frustrated when a couple drives don’t go well and his play falls off a bunch. Josh and mahomes seem to get even better when things aren’t going well He easily breaks mentally. Been a few times where he appears to quit. Quote

die hard bills fan Posted Monday at 06:09 PM Posted Monday at 06:09 PM Another way to ask this. Who would you rather have as your QB Josh or Lamar? Josh gets my vote every time. 4 Quote

Pecker Posted Monday at 07:22 PM Posted Monday at 07:22 PM I keep saying it but, Lamar is still a wait-til-he-is-open thrower. He doesn’t throw with anticipation and his legs have bailed him out. It’s worked for him , but the best teams can beat him. That includes our team Quote

Anybody still think he’s faking an injury? Over/under on the amount of carries Henry gets in this game. I know he is getting up there in age for an RB, but I will say 25 carries this game at minimum. HamptonBillsfan Posted Tuesday at 07:47 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:47 PM Why shouldn’t Lamar fans say he’s the best? The idea doesn’t pass the eye test or his track record against Josh but I’m sure a Ravens fan could build a statistical argument in the regular season to throw it against the wall. In the end the person that gets to the SB and hoists the trophy will be considered the best between Josh, Lamar and Burrow. Quote

Anybody still think he’s faking an injury? Yes. Does he have "something" there? Probably. Just as EVERY player does. We see it on every BTS show they make on the NFL. 4 weeks in, everyone has dings and issues they are working through. The difference is, most of the other guys play through them. Cousins famously on the 1st season of Quarterbacks. Josh with his broken hand. Etc etc. If the vibes were different in Baltimore, and the Ravens were close or ahead in that KC game, I believe he would have finished the game. If the vibes were different in Baltimore, and the Ravens were 3-1, I believe he'd be playing next week and we wouldnt even know about any hammy. So while he probably isnt totally "faking" an injury, I believe he is using it to sit out of this garbage season. 1 Quote

The ravens wanting to claim he is miraculously better looks cool, too. There is no downside to this . 1 Quote

But it's not just saving Lamar face. It's a bad look for Harbaugh and the entire organization to have Lamar go back out on Sunday like he is totally fine and make it clear he pulled himself and the coaches have no control of the team. Schitt is spiraling in Baltimore right now. It's a pick-your-poison situation, but letting Lamar rest for a week is a better look for a lot of people than having him play. They arent risking the whole season, just Sunday. The season is bad enough already. Quote
BillsFan130 Posted Tuesday at 08:01 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:01 PM Out 2-3 weeks. It's crazy to me a lot of people thought he faked an injury. The guy is a two time MVP and one of the best QBs in the game. You don't get those accomplishments by quitting on your team and giving up when there is adversity Quote

Isn’t Occam’s Razor that he has a hamstring injury? For the record I totally agree that there are players with different levels of battle. We’ve seen Josh play in circumstances that may not have even benefited the team because he’s a “wild horses” guy. But there’s a chasm between having a lower threshold and actual faking like some here have suggested. Quote
Goin Breakdown Posted Tuesday at 08:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:08 PM I was thinking maybe the "downgrade" could actually be a "benched". If he was milking it. I mean he did "cramp up" against Buffalo too. Might be a pattern. Quote

If you're going to use Occam's razor on this then you would wonder why he didn't go to the tent after? Why he didn't seek any medical attention or limp off the field or anything? The only video of it is him struggling to stand up and take a few steps after sitting down for the last 25 minutes of the game. Maybe his hamstring is tight, but at the same time if you sit down after working out it's going to cause cramping. Rode hard and then put away wet is never a way treat any machine, and athletes are machines. Occam's razor also displays that he as a history of putting himself in front of the team. The supposed injury that had Tyler Huntley start is an example. Everybody knew he wasn't that injured. 1 Quote

If you go back and look, he got a LOT of those stats in garbage time with his team already way up. The same type of situations that the Bills pull Josh and other starters. The Ravens keep Lamar in and keep him throwing to pad stats. He's had quitting accusations since his 3rd year in the league. This is nothing new. You can have good stats and be mentally soft. Totally faked an injury? No Found a good excuse to pull himself out of a bad game, and take some time to rest in a bad season? Believable 1 Quote
