I would like to propose moving your conversations here so we don’t have to wade through pages of your thoughts in our weekly game thread we use to see updates and discuss this weeks game.   The discussions you’re having (and I’m guilty too) have nothing to do with this weeks game.

Ive seen the play.  He didnt throw it right to Rapp, Rapp came from across the field to to kntercept the pass.  Had Bateman ran the correct route he woukd have been there with Rapp and not have v Rapp there by himself.

please use this thread to discuss things not pertaining to this weeks game

It’s Lamar’s job to know where that safety is.  Either he didn’t see him or he threw a very bad pass.  There’s no way he threw that pass with hopes it ended up where it did.  If Bateman ran the “correct route”, as you say, Rapp would’ve destroyed him.  He was setting him up for a KO.

I think he either didn’t see Rapp or he underestimated Rapps ability to get there.  Bateman running the route to the ball would’ve been disaster.  Rapp is known for taking people out.  His MO is laying the wood.  That includes his teammates.

the 2nd closest i have ever been in an away game fight was in baltimore the season oopener 6-7 years ago. maybe 8.

some old drunk dude kept hrassing me and i largely ignored him but he wouldn't let up. i didn't respond but if his wife hadn't taken him home he would have continued to escalate it.

That gameday was particularly nasty.  The kind I hadnt seen in years and nothing like it since.  Had brought my wife and daughter to that game.  A couple drunken fist fights in front of us.  My daughter crying uncontrollably absolutely gutted me.  She is 20 now and fortunately still likes going.

I was at this one. This was one crazy night at Giants Stadium. The famous pumpkin game.

4. Oct. 17, 1988 — Bills 37, Jets 14

The “Pumpkin Game” featured 41 incidents of improper behavior in the stands, 15 arrests and 56 ejections. Fans burned complimentary paper hats in the stands and batted around an inflated pumpkin. This game led to the stadium halting beer sales after halftime during night games.

I hear ya. They are pains in the azz. Hope there’s not a ton of them at the opener. Don’t want to deal with it, but I’m going anyways.

Was Allen's rookie year wasn't it? We played them like twice in three years on the road in openers. 2016 with Rex and Tyrod. 2018 with Sean and Peterpick/Josh.

It was Ryan's tenure. We cut a full back to sign gronkowski. Maybe 2016?

Yep that was 2016. The full back came from the Vikings. His name escapes me. He was Pat DiMarco before Pat DiMarco. Then after week 1 we cut baby Gronk and signed the ex-Viking back.

We did a fake punt or something. I remember shouting "rex you're as stupid as you are fat." I was already done with him.

But, after that the crowd treated me nicely lol

I googled. Jerome felton. We cut him for week 1 to avoid a bonus then signed him back after the game.

Thats the fella Felton. I was done with Rex after Wembley and Jags in 2015. Everyone remembers that game for EJ's first half meltdown and Darby's late mystery PI penalty on 4th down, but it was a horribly coached game from start to finish. I could tell he had mailed it in.

I don't remember what year it was, it may have been the very first play when he had Kolb start as the quarterback in some weird two quarterback position thing where tie rod Taylor went out wide or something. At that point I realized it's just going to be a circus.

I remember talking to a Bill's beat reporter and he was saying that between Rex and his brother they just stay up and drink all day at the Bill's facility and treat it like a wild party, half the time Rex is hungover the next morning coaching, there was no accountability with the staff. No professionalism.

That was the first game of his first year - 2015 - but it wasn't Kolb. It was Cassel.

The legendary times of Matt Cassel!

It's amazing how at one point we had EJ Manuel, Vince Young, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinert, Mario Williams, and more on this team from 2010-2015.

I live down here in Baltimore and none of them are worried about the game against the Bills.  They all expect to win.  Some fans called in to say they are making t-shirts to go to the game that say "City of Losers" and has reference to the 4 SB losses.

I don't know if it's the Josh MVP or what, but they act like that ex-gf who says they don't care anymore, but can't stop talking about us.

Were they worried when we faced them in the playoffs?
