Clemson is the most overrated program in CFB

Cade Klubnik is about to become a very overrated QB in the draft also.

UB actually got one vote.

Liberty, Nevada-Las Vegas, Toledo, Louisiana-Lafayette & James Madison also received votes.

Does that mean Iowa will be able to score on offense for a change?

Besides their two National Champions in the last decade?

Well, for about 5 years they have been on par with B grade SEC schools getting consistent top 10 pre season rankings and never coming close to expectations in the weakest division in college football. We should give Nebraska some credit for those Natties with Tommy Frazier.

What r u talking about?  Nebraska hasn’t been relevant in nearly 30 years. Different coach, different recruiting era etc….

Clemson, who I agree with hasn’t been great in recent years, still has the same head coach and has remained relevant by winning the ACC every year but two in the last decade.

PS I‘m a GA fan and IU alum.

I was exaggerating for extending credit for past accomplishments. They have not been a top 10 team in awhile. The ACC is just too weak to credit that has some major accomplishment. They’re basically South Carolina at this point. A team that can be top 20 and can also stink it up. Not close to a top 10, those SEC schools would run them as the better ones have.

Good to see Penn State at #2. Since I'm a current student there (online), have to find a reason to wear my Penn State t-shirt and hoodie.

I mean 2 natty championships and two runner-ups at a non-blue blood is very impressive

And he was absolutely was the best team when he won it twice and deserve to be there the other times

Cade klubnik is about to have a heck of a season..  even Kirby Smart has only won 2

And they are much better than South Carolina... And the ACC is a better football conference than the Big 12 now

I understand Clemson at one point was a very good program. Since then, they have been boat raced off the field with any speck of competition outside of the ACC.

I mean they lost by two touchdowns to Texas .. not 35

It's also imperative to say how having the number one overall recruit who becomes a bust for your program set you back... You put years of recruiting efforts for the number one overall prospect in DJ... Just for him to be a massive bust

Then they had to scramble to get Cade klubnik ready who was another top recruit but needed to learn like arch Manning.. and they threw him to the fires , before he was ready

So there's been up and downs for the last 2-3 years.. still more UPS they won 10 games last year lol

And Cade is probably going to bring them back to National relevancy this year

They're not like Ohio State who has three five-star quarterbacks on their roster.. they usually have a entrenched starter.. and a five-star freshman

when the entrenched starter with two years left to play, craps the bed ... It's not like a video game where you just play just as good with the next guy

Cade had a lot of talent but needed a lot of room to grow as a 18-year-old playing major college games.. he still considered young for a senior and is probably going to be a top 10 pick

Dabo also is still building from high school recruits.. he's not a transfer portal machine where most of these teams are getting top end upperclassman talent

In the last 5 years they have been a preseason top 10 team 4 times and a top 5 team 3 times. They never finished with less than 3 losses while playing in the softest conference in football. It is borderline fraud to put them in the top 10.

I think the Big 12 is softer but yeah until they put out a 12 win season they should probably stop putting them top five

I still think they're worthy of a top 25

I think they're basically South Carolina. Which is 20-25 most years. They play each year and it's always close. I don't have an issue saying Clemson is a top 25 program, but Top 10 is just too much at this point IMO.

I think dabo is 10-6 against SC but South Carolina had the old ball coach when he started

And he was a legend and building some real old school SEC teams That peaked around 10-13 .. and defended their home turf
