stuvian Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I enjoyed watching this reunion. A good retrospective of that era of football. I was saddened to learn that Abdul Salaam is no with us. Gastineau comes off as the same egotistical a-hole he always has been. I grew to respect these guys as football players despite the fact that they are Jets. Quote
Another Fan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I loved it. Did not know either until recently Method Man was such a big Jets fan. I kind of really couldn't help but laugh at Gastineau confronting Brett. Anyway Brett's proven to be a scumbag at times so he that coming. Despite being Jets: Salaam, Lyons, and Klecko overall came off as high quality old school type people. Quote
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago “Giving him the business” is a classic moment … Marty Lyons was outstanding at DT, but I hated Gastineau, and I’m glad Joe Devlin gave him fits 😂 Quote

I think he sacked Fergy and the ball came loose but he was too busy doing one of his sack dances to notice. Quote
Gregg Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Klecko was the heart and soul of that group as well as their best player. He should have made the Hall of Fame a long time ago. I am glad he finally got in while he is still alive. With that said... "F" the Jets 2 minutes ago, Another Fan said: The 81 playoff game was before my time but I def know Jets fans were pissed at him that day. The Bills jumped out to a 24-0 lead led by Ferguson's two long TD passes to Frank Lewis and Charles Romes recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff for a quick 7-0 lead. After that it was nervous time, and it looked like disaster until Bill Simpson intercepted Todd at the goal line with under 10 seconds left in the game to stop a furious Jets rally in the Bills 31-27 win at Shea. 1 Quote

I've watched like the condensed highlights of it. It just looked like a very sort of raw physical game (especially with the weather that day) to which the likes we don't see anymore. Both quarterbacks looked pretty sloppy that day. 1 Quote
