Former Bill Jerry O on his podcast describe why these injuries are impacting skill players vs the ‘big uglies’ and what teams medical departments are doing about it.

By far the Bills have had the fewest man games missed due to injuries in the NFL since McDermott has been here. Like by probably over a hundred games at this point over the second closest team.

Almost always they are in the top 5 teams with fewest man games lost every year.

It seems like we have a lot because we pay attention to them more than other teams, but the truth is, we are one of the least injured teams in the NFL, ours just seem to always hit the same position group at the same time.

But unfortunately they have been key players in key moments....

Benford in the last two playoff games against the Chiefs

Rapp, our best Safety not playing the AFC Championship game

Bernard and Milano missing these playoff games

If these players were on the field, the results could have been different...

I don't have enough context to say we are among the fewest, but I have been arguing for a long time the injury concerns for the Bills are grossly overstated. I'm still hearing the "we just can't play them healthy (KC)", based on Benford. Yes, he matters, A LOT. But we aren't going to play them with 11 starters healthy on both sides of the ball and our offensive luck with injuries has been elite. Allen has never been hurt when guys like Burrow and Jackson have and ultimately wrecked those teams seasons. We could have far worse luck.

Rapp is walking concussion waiting to happen. Benford was a walking concussion waiting to happen last year. Bernard and Milano have each developed a fairly clear history. Do you expect these guys to last a full year?  Maybe one or two will, but the history of these players is extensive at this point. This isn't "bad luck" it's bad planning if you don't have viable alternatives. Excuses need to go away.

There are entirely too many bills fans turned "podcaster" / "blogger" and it's all such trash

Well Jerry O started more than 100 games for the Bills in the 90’s, and post career he helped his sons train to play D1 college ball and sold medical devices..  So he’s got a good perspective on the challenges that players put their bodies through to play in the NFL.  He’s more than a fan

Sure, but everywhere I turn there's a different bills podcast with a different dumb buffalo themed name all with the same takes. And they all claim to know more than the next and then we get ourselves into the situation today where people think "circling the wagons" is breaking news...and its wrong. Just way too much material.

Jerry Ostroski is not a fan. He played for the Bills for 8 seasons. I mean he may be a fan too. That would be cool. You not knowing who he is is a bit telling. But hey, the bandwagon has plenty of room.

I’m guessing Alec Anderson didn’t know this

I was 7 when this guy retired. Apologies I didn't know about an obscure lineman with an unremarkable career. Take yourself to bed.

There was a site that tracked man games lost to injury for many years, and the Bills were far and away the lowest team on the list over that time, never being outside the top 6 lowest injured and in the few years since based on other content I've seen, Bills were very low on their as well.

Pretty good resume for a "fan" huh?  This take is going to age very poorly I predict...

Perhaps before making assumptions, a simple Google search might come in handy?

Just a thought...just a thought...

My take still stands. Way too many fans that start podcasts centered around the Bills. This guy, not a fan. Didn't know he was a player, I also don't google every single podcast host of a bills show. I also don't think every single ex-nfl'er needs to do a podcast. But didnt mean to ruffle all your feathers over a former Bills lineman. Whoops

Josh's availability alone disproves this to me at least
