Really sad. This guy was my childhood hero! I remember writing him fan mail

as a 4th grader. I actually met him once when I was 16, and he took a photo with me. Was very gracious.

Was never a Cosby Show Fan but I get that.  Especially if you actually did meet him.

 

I used to look up to Eddie Winslow on Family Matters a lot as a kid.  And in some way I dreamed of going through the TV to be his friend then.

interestingly enough, when I met Malcolm Jamal Warner, he was with the actress who played Urkel’s girlfriend on Family Matters. They were dating at the time. I can’t recall her name, but she passed away from cancer at a very young age.
