I don't believe most rational people believe there is any chance our republic will be replaced by a monarchy. Beyond the optics of these protests the problem Democrats face is except for a collective hatred of Trump they have nothing else to rally around. Maybe you can help? What is their legislative agenda for Congress? Other than attempts at collective obstruction of the administration what are their goals? While I think Trump's policies and vision for the future is an uncoordinated and shifting array of contradictions and course changes at least they're doing something. Some of which I agree with and some of it I don't. I'd like to see Democratic leadership articulate some sort of vision. 1
