Mark Vader Posted Friday at 09:26 PM Posted Friday at 09:26 PM Sad news. As much as I love M*A*S*H, Hot Lips was probably my least favorite character. She had some good funny moments, yet she was lauded for being a strong female character. I'm sorry, but yelling and screaming doesn't make you strong, it makes you loud. 1 Quote

RoyBatty is alive Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago When I was a kid, i thought MASH was so "cool" and "with it". Now I watch it, and it is painful. They have three genre of jokes: 1) Puns, really bad puns especially spoken by Alan Alda. 2) The military sucks, incompetent, unfeeling only by the mighty bombastic, self righteous hospital workers. 3) Periodically a funny joke or thought provoking situation arises. Overall the series is dreadful for me now and they ALL scream their lines, especially Harry Potter. Gross over reacting And I agree with the above, Saly Kellerman was the real hot lips. 1 Quote
Wacka Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago She was also the original Cagney on the "pilot" of Cagney and Lacey. It was originally a made for TV movie and when it was picked up as a series, they had to recast the character with Sharon Gless. Quote
