Once again, Trump is using social media to incite violence - this time with a juvenile video of himself hitting a golf ball at Bruce Springsteen. It’s juvenile, petty, predictable, and part of a long, dangerous pattern. What’s just as revealing? How easy it is to rattle this so-called tough guy. That’s not strength - it’s insecurity in full display, weaponized for clicks and rage.

From dehumanizing attacks on Black Americans, liberal women, and LGBTQ+ people to these thinly veiled calls for violence, this isn’t just trolling its strategic incitement. It mirrors the relentless onslaught of MAGA threads that mock, threaten, and vilify anyone outside their cult.

And as always with MAGA, what they condemn in others is exactly what they’re guilty of. They shout “law and order” while stoking chaos and hate. They hide behind sarcasm and memes until the threats turn real and someone pays the price - then crickets.

And here we have the “stable genius” re-Truthing a post from domestic terrorist Mike Davis - openly threatening Supreme Court justices for doing their job and upholding the Constitution. This isn’t political commentary; it’s authoritarian thuggery in a MAGA wrapper.

“Stand Back and Stand By” and Stay Ready.

@JDHillFan golf ball tough guy!  😀

Exactly. The violent imagery has me somewhere between horrified and hilarified (not a word obviously but I hope it’s understood. Cannot be at all certain). All my best to those impacted!

Clearly this crazy lady is telling people to fight. To argue would mean that you don't believe she is smart enough to understand the words she uses.

Its not real, but it very well could be. So by the rules of the reliable media? Real as a heart attack!

Inciting violence? That’s a stretch.

The ***** president of the United States posting something this juvenile?  I just can’t phantom how his supporters aren’t humiliated by this guy. i mean it would be odd for any 79 year old; but the leader of the free world? Does nothing he does embarrass you guys? Dare you to reply without mentioning Biden. Just think how bizarre you’d find it if any other head of state used social media this much, much less to post memes. Of himself. Hitting a musician with a golf ball. It’s the oddest behavior and you all just can’t ever admit he’s an overgrown middle schooler.

Weird. Violent? Come on. But weird as *****.

I'm going to assume that you meant "aren't, Steve.

But the answer is easy.

Unlike what is spouted every 10 minutes here, supporters of Trump are more concerned with the policies that he supports.

and not his blowhard tactics.

Now the usual suspects here will deny this claiming that we 'worship' DJT and are in a cult,

But I suspect that that is just a way of coping for them as their fantasyworld falls apart.

That’s fair. And I edited that (good call out) and added to it. But his blowhard tactics are ***** embarrassing, B-Man.

I won’t go all RFK opinion on him; that man makes my blood boil and I end up looking like some of the faaar lefties on here, as I truly believe his “blowhard tactics” are a danger to children (and maybe as a new dad that’s why I get so vested/emotional about it) but for god sakes, can’t Trump have the policies without acting like a child?

I have to assume when you watch the news sometimes you cringe? Or say to your wife (or anyone else close to you) “man I wish he would calm it with this nonsense.”

Sure I have.

Every Trump supporter I know has.

BUT he continues to (slowly) turn the country around from the socialist path that it has been on for decades (I assume that you disagree here)

THAT is why we continue to support him and why the childish attempts by many of the lower posters here don't affect us.

He cannot. Everyone knows that. What’s entertaining for people that have accepted that as a fact of life, one that is currently scheduled to go on for 44 more months, is the inability of many to cope with it. How many times have you posted what amounts to the very same thing regarding the guy? A rambling diatribe that invariably includes something dim like “how come none of you say anything bad about your orange deity”?

Just start a “Trump acted like a child today” thread or “Trump said something idiotic today” thread. It will have daily entries.

That’s fair. The only thing I disagree with (not even sure it’s a disagreement; been a long week) is that I’m just some schmoe on the internet. He’s the POTUS. But I appreciate the candor.

We certainly disagree on him turning the country around, you’re right. But that’s the politics part. The part we’re supposed to be talking about here.  And be makes it so easy to dismiss anything positive he’s done because he acts like a spoiled 7th grade doofus daily.

But I appreciate both your and @JDHillFan’s reply here.

Basically, you know he has personality flaws (I’m being nice to have a civil conversation) because you feel he’s SUCH a good POTUS, the antics are worth it. Fine, maybe I’ll stop calling him your deity. But just you two, to start. 🙂

I’d still disagree with most of his policies if he acted like an adult, but the phone book long list of embarrassing things he does and says makes me truly baffled that the GOP couldn’t find an adult to do the job (remember, I think Biden stunk too).

Ok, back to the RFK thread. This being civil feels weird.

The guy is an idiot and I will be glad when he is gone. I’m also glad he beat Harris like a redheaded mule. One of the more excitable lefties here described that as winning by “the thinnest of margins”.

The question that most on your side of the political aisle don’t want to answer is “how did Donald Trump get elected TWICE?”
