Do we not provide special treatment to other groups that you know, have been enslaved, brutally treated, and violently massacred? I don’t use the term “fascist Nazi.” Evil, sure. But I’ve said frequently here that, lucky, Trump is too stupid to be an actual Nazi. Elon’s getting there. Again, you can criticize Israel’s actions without blaming all Jews. Same as criticizing ISIS without blaming all Muslims.

thenorthremembers Posted April 17 Posted April 17 1 hour ago, thenorthremembers said: So, in your infinite wisdom you decided a group of Muslim extremists who are backed by Iran aren't interested in killing Jews? This despite leaders of both Hamas and Iran saying they want to wipe out Israel? Israel where the population is 74% Jewish. Maybe I am just a complete moron, but I think if you ask those non-Zionist Jews you mentioned if they want Israel wiped off the map, they may have a bit of an issue with it. As an aside, truly intelligent people dont have to tell others how smart they are all the time. In reference to a pro-Palestinian extremist attempting to kill a Jew you said smart people can differentiate an attack on a Jewish person from attacks on Isarael. The issue being, it's the same sort of racist extremism that caused both issues. When Hamas kills Americans, whether it's on American soil or not, are they not killing Americans over ideology?

B-Man Posted Tuesday at 05:54 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:54 PM Follow up: PA Governor's Mansion Arsonist Pleads Guilty, Learns Sentence Ward Clark On Tuesday, the accused firebomber of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's official residence entered a plea of guilty and received his sentence: 25 to 50 years in prison. Balmer reportedly gave as the reason for his attack the governor's support for Israel and that nation's pursuit of a military solution in Gaza. At the hearing, prosecutors displayed video of the attack. (at the link) What's troubling about this case is that it's another in a disturbing series of politically-motivated crimes of violence. Fortunately, Governor Shapiro, his wife, his children, and their guests were not seriously harmed; this could have gone much worse, and it would appear to have been Cody Balmer's intent that they were much worse, as he admitted, in his statement of intent to attack the governor with a hammer, had he encountered him. Governor Shapiro is a Democrat, but this kind of thing is not a partisan matter. We should all abhor this kind of politically-based violence. Unfortunately, one side seems more and more likely by the day to call for just this kind of thing. https://redstate.com/wardclark/2025/10/14/new-pa-governors-mansion-arsonist-pleads-guilty-learns-sentence-n2195053
