Step 1 - Implement tariffs to make my approval go down from -1 to -8.

Step 2 - Mostly cave on tariffs to make my approval go back up from -8 to -1.

Let’s see where it stands at the end of the year, shall we? We can make our decisions on pitchforks at that time. i’m no fan of the guy but markets did perform better under him than they did under President Brandon. I’m willing to take a wait-and-see approach.

I give Trump credit for at least recognizing why his poll numbers went down and fixing the problem.  It's not a sign of weakness.

Actually it's a sign of not knowing what you are doing.  The rest of the world has figured out how to manipulate a deeply flawed and insecure person with zero empathy for anyone.  You could read some analysis of him from over seas instead of just living in the right wing echo chamber.  His poll numbers are not only about the stock market.
