Well, this is good news:

Kid can hit.  Any opinion on Beavers?  He seemed to come out of nowhere.

Separate note: Dodgers/Padres weekend should be fun.

Dodgers vs Padres weekend is turning into a great rivalry. Good baseball.

I never heard Beavers name until this season and he came outta nowhere. Looks like he has a nice swing

Just finished watching the Padres beat the Dodgers in an excellent game.  Several clutch defensive plays and great pitching from both teams.  The outcome was in doubt for the entire game up until the last pitch.  San Diego has a great crowd.  Fun, fun game.

Padres bullpen is so sick.  Morejon, Estrada, Adam, Miller Suarez……..seriously?

Yankees games was excellent as well, except the losing part.

I didn’t see it but it looks like it was well pitched.  The Yankees are beyond stupid keeping Caballero on the bench.  He creates runs.

Orioles have stunk all year and go into San Diego and sweep the Padres. Go figure.

Good sign for 2026 Kyle Bradish and Tyler Wells started the first two games after being on DL all season from TJ surgery. If Grayson Rodriguez can return thats three solid starters for next season

Don't forget the AL Pitcher of the Month: https://www.mlb.com/player/trevor-rogers-669432

Another set of four 20 game winners in Baltimore? 😝

The Mets lost again.  8 in a row now

Whether it'll be the Mets, Reds, or Giants in the 3rd wildcard spot odds are the team will be just a few games over .500

I mean quite honestly it's def an argument to me there's too many teams now in the playoffs.

How 'bout them Brewers?  My favorite team is the Jays, but the Brewers have worked their way into being my 2nd favorite.  They are sooooo clutch!  On the evening when they clinched a playoff berth, they fell behind the Cards 6-1, had to score 3 runs in the 9th inning to tie the game, fell behind 9-8 in the 10th, and pulled out the 10-9 win with a walk off hit by little known Andruw Monasterio.    Best record in MLB!

I never heard anybody pick the Brewers to be this good, or for that matter the Jays.  Congrats on the Jays from a Orioles fan

Thanks.  I am a very casual baseball fan, but this year I started watching more games.  I'm a fan of underdogs, especially teams like the Brewers that don't spend money in FA like drunken sailors but develop their own players.  They also play "old fashioned" fundamental baseball, which I like.

Before I became a Jays fan, I followed the Orioles in the 70s when they were synonymous with great pitching.  If they aren't playing the Jays, I will always root for the Birds.
