Bills!Win! Posted Tuesday at 02:41 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:41 AM I would assume most of this board is Jays and Yankees fans, with the rest being the Mets and some random teams? Quote

From your lips to God’s ears. Please make Davey Roberts cry. Oh, who am I kidding? That douche cries win or lose. Go Jays. Great game tonight . Wow that crowd when Springer hit that bomb! 2 Quote
That's No Moon Posted Tuesday at 03:28 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:28 AM The Mariners absolutely managed themselves out of that game. They were hell bent on using Bazardo again even though he had been overused. That home run was totally predictable. Anyway. All things Toronto can piss off. Go Dodgers. 2 Quote

Sweats Posted Tuesday at 01:26 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:26 PM I think LA's going to wipe the floor with the Blue Jays.........and i'm a Jays fan. As long as it's not a 4-game sweep, then it's a Toronto win to me. Quote
Billsatlastin2018 Posted Tuesday at 02:46 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:46 PM Vlady, post his superhuman MVP performance in the ALCS wasn’t the only person crying for joy! So was I, along with millions of Jays fans. I was trying to recall my last Jays WS experience in 1993, when as a Season Tix holder, I in the stands, witnessed “touch em all Joe “ disappear that ball off of Mitch Williams over the left field wall! That made MY WS record, 3-0. And then off I went into the TO streets, celebrating on Yonge with hundreds of thousands of my fellow Torontonians. THAT was a team of stars- well beloved. THIS is a team of parts and pieces, who finished in last place in 2024 and picked by nobody to win anything. A mega superstar to be sure. But also, a dude who got the job one day before the season began after 733 days in the minors. A 22 year kid who started in Single A Dunedin, who will have more starts in the Playoffs than in the majors this year. An old man, who started pitching when the kid was 1! A reclamation Tommy John project who started last night. The MLBs best hitter- sidelined for 6 weeks. Crazy 3D chess moves by the manager. It is totally why they have captured the imagination and love of a city and a country! On it goes. And bonus on top of bonus, by sheer happenstance I am off to Las Vegas Thursday and about to witness 3 WS games in the Wynn Casino hyped up in Jays gear! O frabjous day! Touch em all George! 1 2 Quote
