I like Cosell,I like his pre draft evals.  Had we moved up and taken who he liked last year (BTJ)  then we wouldnt have as many issues with intermediate routes as we do now.

I agree with Cosell 100%. We don’t need the deep ball as much as we need more consistent intermediate shots. That’s Josh’s bread and butter where he can use his arm strength and zip it in tight windows. Frankly, Josh sucks at the deep ball unless he can throw it on a rope. Brady has turned our alien into a dink and dunk master and while there’s nothing wrong with taking what the defense gives you, with the correct scheming that doesn’t have to always be behind the LOS or a bubble screen.

Greg is saying what I, and many, observe and post.  Brady’s concepts are fooling no one- they are so simple.

Brady is basically running back same offense as last year, Hawes is the only new addition to the offense.  Same simple game plan as year- minus throwing to RBs.  Bills are a target of every team.  They study every bit of tape, and non simple, brilliant defensive coordinators game plan specific to your offense Joe.  McFly- you have to evolve!  Evolve or be irrelevant.

Where are the new concepts?  Don’t say he’s saving them for the playoffs.  We are in second place chasing a young and hungry team, with a cup cake schedule.  We have to start winning.  And then not stop winning!

Go Bills!

This system would work well with MacJones.  And then we’d have 40 million in extra cap space.

but we have Allen and this sucks

Look at him on the slants hes caught. Hes got long speed in spades

So why doesn’t Brady design slants for Coleman?  The solution to most every offensive problem is obvious to most everyone but Brady.

-no more back shoulder throws/50-50 balls, more slants Keon

-send RBs on routes, get Cook in space

-on 2nd short- more play action!  And just more, a lot more, play action

go 12 and 13 personal most of the game.  There are possibilities from this - try and use your imagination Joe-send Cook in motion and line him up outside- get him isolated on LB or S.  That ones free Joe.

So Joe

simple=bad. Imagination and brilliance- good

cute=bad.  Smash mouth good.  Josh 80 yard TD good.

stagnant- bad.  Evolution-muy bueno

I take exception to the sentiment "we have this one of a kind Bazooka, but failed to invest"

Since 2020 (basically since Josh was Josh), there have been 6 drafts. In 3/6 we have used our first pick to either trade for or draft a WR/TE for Josh. So 50% of our picks have gone to try and fill like 15% of the roster.

You failed to factor in the part where Beane also traded away the only true #1 WR Josh has ever had during that period.

Everybody says Josh Allen has a terrible deep Ball but he's been top 10 multiple times the last four years

Including having the most deep ball completion the last three seasons

He doesn't have a Joe Namath deep ball but it absolutely is not bad.. a deep ball in the NFL is anything over 20 yards...

Nobody has a crazy high completion percentage on balls 45 yards down the field lol if you're throwing a ball 40 or 50 yards down the field Josh Allen is still right up there for who you want throwing it

Roll with the best players we have, put one of our rbs in the slot, we have multiple play makers in the backfield.

this may work okay…until the playoffs when all our players are being held and can’t get open / draw flags.  Get an alpha….although it would be rather shocking if we did
