Because of Russian attempts to sway the election?

Well ya, we all know they hacked the DNC. That really happened

What I find astonishingly clueless is the hubris of Americans moaning about foreign election interference, especially the fake kind, when our government through the State Department and agencies like the CIA, has interfered with more foreign elections and governments than any other nation.  Its just a quid pro quo game.

Have you ever contemplated the fact that Putin got exactly the result he wanted in 2020? The weakening of America under Joe Biden couldn't have worked out better for Xi and Putin and their buddies. Maybe your just a patsy?

A thread to document the appalling ignorance of a lot of Americans.

a new survey of registered voters was released last week from Navigator Research showing that a sizable number of Americans, incredibly enough, held Biden responsible for “the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the elimination of the federal right to an abortion.” That opinion was held by 34 percent of self-identified independents, 32 percent of Black voters, and 42 percent of Hispanic voters.

This 35% number keeps cropping up.  hmm, that's the number representing trump's bedrock base.  "I love the uneducated".

You mean his three day conquest of Ukraine? NATO united like never before, US chip industry fortified and Trump on trial?

Ha, ha, Ya Putin's really doing great!

Thank you !! If anyone wonders why Iran hates the US so much go back and research the American involvement in their elections .

This is almost like the situation when someone that is cheating on their significant other they are usually the one casting stones or saying that the other person is the one that is doing the cheating when in fact it's them .

The US and it's politicians Hillary, Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, Schiff, Romney, (& many more) all of these "career politicians" that have been a part of this kind of thing for years are the ones complaining the most which kind of leads me to believe they have been in on so much more of those types of things than we know & that they will admit ...

don't see the connection between this and a group of dummies.  you mean you really think biden was responsible for overturning Roe?  perhaps we need to run cartoons explaining it like MAGA does.

No, I mean things like US troops being kicked out of Niger bases and replaced by Russian forces while on the way out. Over a few years our influence and position on the African continent has been marginalized to almost nothing. Same thing happening as China moves into South America. The "not welcome" mat being hung on in places like Iraq and Syria. 3/4 of the world taking the other side in the Ukraine war. The useless sanctions Biden placed on Russia that have not hurt Putin but have been devastating to American citizens faced with massive inflationary pressures caused by market disruptions and higher oil prices.

As for the war, how about depleting western stockpiles of weapons and ammunition to dangerously low levels (and sending most of that to Israel) while Russia has tripled their production of items like artillery shells and bombs while we dip into dwindling supplies to fuel and unwinnable war. All for nothing. What level of armaments do you think China is ready to throw at Taiwan vs. what we can muster? Should we even mention the Afghanistan debacle?

We've been strategically maneuvered into a bad position by our enemies as a result of absent leadership and brain power in the White House and when our actual vested interests are threatened we'll be caught with our pants down around our ankles assuming the bend over and take it position from XI and China. The actual 1st team threat.

You should be a Trump surrogate.  You've got their talking points  down. 3/4 of the world is taking Russia's side?  We're not replenishing supplies?   A few facts mixed in with a lot of fantasy.

Russia is a mess right now.  If all you read is pro Russia propaganda you'll never hear it.  Partisans are roaming virtually free  in Russian territory hitting strategic targets.  You're not stupid but you are definitely in an echo chamber.

Well that degenerated into EVERY OTHER THREAD pretty quickly.

Getting back to the point of THIS thread: why would anyone blame Biden for the erosion of abortion rights?

My leading theory: it’s the “it happened on his watch” effect. Think about it. The sitting president gets blamed for everything that goes wrong (from the perspective of people who think repealing Roe was wrong). That may be because the sitting president tries to seize credit for everything that goes right during his term, whether or not he had anything to do with it. We’ve conditioned people that way.

Cause it was a highly funded Dem PAC that fought the 15 week limit law in Mississippi, that got it all tossed.  Even RBG knew it was on very shaky ground.

Wow. Now that’s a special kind of spin. So the plaintiffs should’ve waited for the 14 week limit, or the 12, or Ronnie D’s 6.

So again, back to my point: Trump suffered at the polls because COVID hit “on his watch.” There is no reason to believe it wouldn’t have hit under anyone’s watch.
Of course Trump didn’t have to go out and make it worse for himself by doing dumb things and eventually catching it himself. But still… the “bad sh!t happened while he was president” theory.

Back to the point a dem PAC sued a 15 week limit that got it thrown at the federal level.   Ow it's not a federal issue.

Now amount of "double backing" makes that false.
