In general, Blasey Ford has portrayed herself in contradictory ways. For example, she said she was so deathly terrified of flying in planes that to get over the fear she had to delay testifying in a manner that happened to match with Democrat attempts to delay the hearing, but also that she loves to fly to remote islands in the middle of oceans in puddle jumpers as part of her surfing hobby.
