Success Posted January 24 Share Posted January 24 Man, I'm still struggling today. I posted after the game that I was more low-key about this loss. But as the hours have passed, I find myself fighting this sense of hopelessness. Like, if we couldn't do it Sunday, or last year at home, or the year before w/ just a few ticks left on the clock - when can we ever do it? I try to rationalize that it took other great athletes years and multiple losses to the same team before breaking through (Manning, Jordan, etc.) But that's just hope talk. This might be as far as we ever get in today's AFC. And we have one of the 2 best QB's in the game - I happen to still think he's the best. It's immensely frustrating. Bob Jones Posted January 25 Share Posted January 25 Don't know how much this contributed to the large viewing numbers, but over the last few days I've seen/heard a bunch of non-football types speculate that the largeness of the numbers were because of millions of Taylor Swift fans who were watching just because she was at the game.
