the fact you selected that snippet from the overall body of evidence and argument tells the story. You see that grass is green, you just don’t want to admit it.

my work is done here

The entire article goes in that direction it frames it that way from the very beginning, I'm sorry if pointing out that you're scrambling to find a point and going in two different directions upsets you. But it's not my fault that not only does history point out that the Nazis actually privatized industries when they came into power, but that they also actually targeted and murdered the social-democratic party in Germany and the actual ***** German Communist party.

The Nazis weren't socialist just ***** live with it.

It’s in the name dunce-ski.

Everything about their evolution was text book socialist government centralization leading right to fascism. the only privatization that happened was redistribution of some industry to friends of the state.

Every thing I posted supports exactly that. Everything you posted supports exactly that.

One line that says Adolf was quiet at times about his support for aspects of Marxist ideology is a counter point ? 😂

You’re making a fool of yourself … but please keep going. It’s hilarious how naive and uneducated people with deep seated religious belief in a party can be.

no grass is orange because AOc told you right?  Coronavirus has nothing to do with the building in the town the Coronavirus started with the word on the side of it that was working on coronaviruses.

😂 😂

Maybe I need to stop trying to argue with UIs and just take advantage of them for my own benefit like their political masters do.

i suggest you diagram your argument and mine....btw, strange suits u not me.  I'm mainstream, establishment.

I have diagramed it multiple times in this thread:

- Nazis socialized companies, you approve.

- Nazis took guns away, you approve.

- Nazis aborted babies of those less desirable, you approve

You then responded by saying large militaries and corrupt politicians only happen in capitalist countries, which I pointed out was lunacy.

I will ask you directly, what libertarian ideal did the Nazi agree with?

Sheep Silence GIF by STUDIOCANAL France

It's not that ***** complicated....well maybe it is for you, when at the beginning of your article you describe the Nazis as being publicly against socialism and Communism but privately support them that's your article framing a narrative of them secretly supporting those things or being secretly socialist, which as I pointed out was counter to everything you were ***** saying before.

As to your point that the privatization went to friends of the state that's sort of true in that by doing it they wanted support from the private sector, because if you actually paid attention in history A. the Nazis didn't actually win the election they needed more friends and B. the German economy was double ***** up from the Great Depression and WWI.

Ok here is the simple simple simple version- my border collie even grasps this iteration- granted they are smart dogs…

1) socialism sounds great to low iq idiots

2) socialism wins popularity and “socialists” are given control by idiots

3) “socialists” take control of everything

4) “socialists” shockingly become authoritarian

5) idiots shocked and surprised this happened

6) idiots further shocked that all the magical utopian ideals don’t materialize

7) idiots even further more surprised the people who are friends with the socialists get super wealthy

stop being the idiot!

this is the playbook that all 20th century fascists used.

secret?

Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei. Or National Socialist German Workers' Party

shhhh don’t tell anyone

Please stop.

Were the Nazis Socialists?

Quote

Were the Nazis socialists? No, not in any meaningful way, and certainly not after 1934. But to address this canard fully, one must begin with the birth of the party.

In 1919 a Munich locksmith named Anton Drexler founded the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (DAP; German Workers’ Party). Political parties were still a relatively new phenomenon in Germany, and the DAP—renamed the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP; National Socialist German Workers’ Party, or Nazi Party) in 1920—was one of several fringe players vying for influence in the early years of the Weimar Republic. It is entirely possible that the Nazis would have remained a regional party, struggling to gain recognition outside Bavaria, had it not been for the efforts of Adolf Hitler. Hitler joined the party shortly after its creation, and by July 1921 he had achieved nearly total control of the Nazi political and paramilitary apparatus.

To say that Hitler understood the value of language would be an enormous understatement. Propaganda played a significant role in his rise to power. To that end, he paid lip service to the tenets suggested by a name like National Socialist German Workers’ Party, but his primary—indeed, sole—focus was on achieving power whatever the cost and advancing his racist, anti-Semitic agenda. After the failure of the Beer Hall Putsch, in November 1923, Hitler became convinced that he needed to utilize the teetering democratic structures of the Weimar government to attain his goals.

Over the following years the brothers Otto and Gregor Strasser did much to grow the party by tying Hitler’s racist nationalism to socialist rhetoric that appealed to the suffering lower middle classes. In doing so, the Strassers also succeeded in expanding the Nazi reach beyond its traditional Bavarian base. By the late 1920s, however, with the German economy in free fall, Hitler had enlisted support from wealthy industrialists who sought to pursue avowedly anti-socialist policies. Otto Strasser soon recognized that the Nazis were neither a party of socialists nor a party of workers, and in 1930 he broke away to form the anti-capitalist Schwarze Front (Black Front). Gregor remained the head of the left wing of the Nazi Party, but the lot for the ideological soul of the party had been cast.

Hitler allied himself with leaders of German conservative and nationalist movements, and in January 1933 German President Paul von Hindenburg appointed him chancellor. Hitler’s Third Reich had been born, and it was entirely fascist in character. Within two months Hitler achieved full dictatorial power through the Enabling Act. In April 1933 communists, socialists, democrats, and Jews were purged from the German civil service, and trade unions were outlawed the following month. That July Hitler banned all political parties other than his own, and prominent members of the German Communist Party and the Social Democratic Party were arrested and imprisoned in concentration camps. Lest there be any remaining questions about the political character of the Nazi revolution, Hitler ordered the murder of Gregor Strasser, an act that was carried out on June 30, 1934, during the Night of the Long Knives. Any remaining traces of socialist thought in the Nazi Party had been extinguished.

Key takeaways:

  • Were the Nazis socialists? No
  • Propaganda played a significant role in his rise to power.
  • Hitler’s racist nationalism to socialist rhetoric that appealed to the suffering lower middle classes.
  • Hitler allied himself with leaders of German conservative and nationalist movements
  • In April 1933 communists, socialists, democrats, and Jews were purged from the German civil service, and trade unions were outlawed the following month.

Who does this sound like?

Yes I get it you don't like the word socialism, but one day maybe you'll know what it means, if you try real hard.

Here’s another one- try to skim over the content and find a one liner that resonates with your stupid postulation that greater centralized government control equates to freedom.

Non-sequitur aside, I’m not going to deny that many liberals are wrong and dumb (look at the pro-Hamas protests by morons).

But it’s an especially ignorant kind of dumb to believe that the Nazis were socialists. If someone will believe that, you can probably convince them of anything.

Again for the completely illiterate

socialism is the thing that the bad people who want to control the stupid people promote as a solution to their problems.

and the stupid people buy in because it sounds wonderful.

why are all you idiot so befuddled by this??

it’s happened in like 6 countries at least in just the past century.

I feel like I’m trying to teach differential equations to 4 year olds, but the actual content is cows make a moo sound.
