But it doesn't follow that fascism evolves from Socialism in the case of Germany. More importantly, it doesn't show that Dems are Nazis....But I'm now recognizing the disingenuous subtlety of the "roots" word included in your title. Although on rereading, I feel that capitalism should not be ranked this way. D and R's are both capitalist and to a similar degree. I'm a D. A liberal D and a capitalist.
