Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic

Recommended Posts

Chances this guy will be smeared and canceled by the media despite stating that he's a democrat and that fact should be irrelevant to actually following the science?

Highly likely.

I'd encourage every reasonable person, which granted eliminates many here, to follow the link in the tweet and read the entire statement.

Because so many of us have worked so hard for so many years against such ferociously strong headwinds on this issue, I join you today with a deep and sincere request that your committee honor our work by making these hearings as evidence-based, non-partisan, probing, and solutions-oriented as possible.

Determining the origins of this catastrophe is an issue that affects all Americans and people, regardless of our politics or backgrounds. I happen to be a Democrat, which is irrelevant to the work we must do together in the national and global interest

Let me be clear.

It is inconceivable that over three years after this deadly pandemic began, no comprehensive and unfettered investigation into pandemic origins has been carried out nor is one currently planned. Twenty million dead and counting and no comprehensive investigation. This injustice is an insult to every victim of this crisis and a clear threat to future generations.

This guy is just another Bias motivated hate mongering F Tard that hasn't a freakin clue .

You think at the time trump was just a tad bit busy trying to shut down travel from china, fast track the science community to figure anything out how to fight this stuff ?

Plus when he did say something about a certain drug that may have helped the BS started saying the drug was dangerous & would never work after a very long history of no adverse effects to people using it .

It was all part of your set up & this guy is part of it to he like you lets his bias & hate be his guide instead of common sense & truth .

If Trump did give Xi all this praise that this F Tard says look through you Trump video archive and find me a clip of how he was gushing over Xi & his response to the pandemic that they started then i may believe this guys BS but until then it's all just the narrative almost 3 yrs later ...

What has the great Biden done to hold china accountable ? NOTHING !! Has he sent scientists over to do investigation NO because Xi would say F U !!

Maybe he could get Hunter to sit down with his buddy's and get it figured out yah think ??

The Democrat's actions during the first day of testimony is (almost) beyond belief.

Ranking Democrat Trys to Derail Covid-Origins Hearing by Smearing Witness as Racist

Rather than trying to get to the bottom of how the pandemic began, Representative Raul Ruiz (D., N.M.) spent his allotted time during Wednesday morning’s hearing on Covid’s origins berating one of the witnesses over a book he wrote ten years earlier on the human genome, implying that the book was motivated by racism.

Ruiz, the ranking Democrat on the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, used his opening statement and much of his first round of questioning to argue that his Republican colleagues had compromised the panel’s efforts to investigate Covid’s origins by calling Nicholas Wade as a witness.

“Today’s hearing marks a concerning step down the path of letting extremism get in the way of an inquiry that should be led by science and facts,” Ruiz said.

As the Republican chairman of the committee pointed out when introducing him, Wade has edited the two most prominent science journals in the world, Nature and Science, and led the New York Times’ science coverage for years. In his current role as an independent journalist, Wade established himself as one of the foremost authorities publicly examining the possibility of a lab leak and calling for a thorough and transparent investigation into Covid’s origins.

{snip}

The Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis was originally created in April 2020 under the leadership of then-speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) to give congressional oversight of the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, after Republicans regained control of the House in 2023, it was renamed the Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic and charged with investigating the origins of Covid-19. It is currently chaired by Brad Wenstrup (R., Ohio).

I'm totally fine with this.  There's zero chance it won't be politicized.   Both sides of the aisle can't help themselves.

Dr. Redfield's Bombshell Testimony

by Robert W. Malone, MD, MS

Yesterday, we witnessed the ex-director of the CDC, under oath, directly blame Dr. Fauci and the US Government for the deaths of millions of people.

However, if you went to the headlines of Google News - there was nary a news story. I guess Google felt it wasn’t important enough to warrant above-the-fold status.

The actual testimony of Dr. Redfield was explosive. Yet, none of these headlines bely the gravity of Dr Redfield’s testimony. Dr. Redfield directly linked gain-of-function research

{snip}

"In Sept. 2019, three things happened in that lab. One is they deleted the sequences. Highly irregular, researchers don't like to do that. The second thing is they changed the command and control from civilian to military. Highly unusual. The third, which is very telling, is they let a contractor redo the ventilation system in that laboratory. Clearly, there was strong evidence that a significant event happened in that laboratory in September."
