Hell no.  In fact, when I went in there, the seat was already up!!

So, this wasn’t your first time in there, was it?

I think they should sweep for cameras, just in case.

A friend of my wife once said to her “I’ve never done five guys”. My wife had never heard of the burger chain at that point, so……..what to make of that?   🤷‍♂️

Mulligans, Hertel Avenue. Late 70s early 80s.

They had a genuine French Chef. He used to yell a lot, but man was he good. He ordered whole sides of the cow and dressed them in the restaurant. Part of that entailed grinding up scraps (my job) into hamburger meat. The employee meal was a hamburger on a Kaufman's Bulky bun. It was unparalleled. It would be $20 retail today.

The only close competitor would have been a Fudruckers when they used to dress their own beef.

I’ve had the aforementioned Ferg Burger when I visited NZ. It’s pretty damn good but the meat pies they sell in the adjoining store are worth traveling to the other side of the world for. (And no line!)

Restaraunt near my place in GA (unfortunately under new mgmt now) used to do a 50/50 ( could have been 60/40 or something) beef and bacon burger. Unbelievable and have been meaning to try my own version at home.

Anyone  traveling on 40/75 through Knoxville, Abridged Brewpub is not too far off the highway. Great beer and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had.
