Impact of Dobbs and Abortion Laws

Victory!

DAVID STROM

One of the most vicious lines of attack on pro-life activists has been the attempt to strangle pro-life ministries and pregnancy centers.

I can’t find strong enough terms to describe how vile these attacks have been and how demonic the impulse to actively work to increase the number of abortions and reduce the number of live births.

I understand those who want to preserve a “woman’s right to choose;” what I don’t understand is why the only acceptable choice for a woman weighing the possibility of having an abortion is to destroy their child’s life.

Pro-life ministries are all about helping women facing this difficult choice and helping them not only choose life but also deal with the financial burden that an unexpected pregnancy can impose on a woman. They exist to help women who choose life. Few acts are more compassionate and loving than helping a struggling parent get on their feet and focus on raising their beautiful child.

Still, leftists hate to see a baby born, and in several states (including my own), lawmakers have labeled pro-life ministries as frauds and pushed to outlaw their work.

Ho Jo still doesn't grasp that ten-year-old rape victim was trafficked to another state for an abortion due to partisan (pedo was an illegal) morons not wanting to press charges on the rapist that happened to be her mom's boyfriend.

could have just filed charges on the rapist, got the abortion and made sure the predator wasn't out doing more pedo things.

Hopefully no one else was raped or hurt by him in the months it took for independent reporting to get to the bottom and have him charged, then deported.

The thing is the courts stated it not federal. People talking of making it legal or illegal federally are on the wrong narrative.

Watch us end up where the EU already is.  Each state having different laws

Yup and when a state like Ohio votes to empower women, the state legislature moves to overturn the will of the voters.

Good one.

Good one.

Good for the people vs the PAC puppets trying to eff with free will.

It's interesting how the law they voted for does have a viability limit.

Like full circle

Good one.

And in turn other states might vote for different limits and what not.  Just like the EU.  Different laws depending on the state

Comprehension is hard on you.  I blamed the partisan ass hats protecting the predator and makes the victim suffer more .

There are simple brain games that can help with the comprehension problems

That's cute and all but Republicans are just as responsible as Democrats for not locking Bill and Don's buddy up sooner.

As a matter of fact, Trump's former Labor Secretary gave Epstein a deal of a lifetime.

In 2007–2008, as U.S. attorney, Acosta approved a plea deal that allowed child-trafficking ring-leader Jeffrey Epstein to plead guilty to a single state charge of solicitation, in exchange for a federal non-prosecution agreement.

Supreme Court Blocks Biden Admin’s Attempt
to Force Idaho ER Doctors to Perform Abortions

 by Katherine Hamilton

The Supreme Court on Friday allowed Idaho’s law banning abortions except to save the life of the mother to go into effect amid a challenge from the pro-abortion Biden administration. The High Court also agreed to hear the case in April, which surrounds the Biden administration’s attempt to require emergency room doctors to perform abortions under its new interpretation of the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act of 1986 (EMTALA). After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, which had invented a constitutional right to abortion, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued guidance claiming that EMTALA requires doctors to perform abortions on patients in emergency rooms

https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2024/01/22/biden-abortion-contraception/

The White House on Monday is announcing new steps intended to ensure access to contraception, abortion medication and emergency abortions at hospitals. It represents President Biden’s latest bid to contrast himself with Republican challengers who support strict abortion limits and arrives on the anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling that guaranteed abortion rights for nearly 50 years.

The effort to expand access to contraception involves several measures. Federal agencies are issuing guidance that would make no-cost contraceptives more available under the Affordable Care Act and take similar actions to expand contraception access for federal employees. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra also plans to send a letter to health insurers instructing them of their obligation to provide no-cost contraceptives, according to a memo the White House sent to reporters Sunday.

The federal health department also announced a new team dedicated to enforcing its interpretation of a law, known as the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act, or EMTALA, which the Biden administration has said requires hospitals to provide emergency abortions nationwide, including in the 21 states where the procedure is limited or banned.
