Here’s what it has to do with: yes, you innocent children, law enforcement agencies recruit informants with terrorist groups and other groups crowing (online or otherwise) about overthrowing the legitimate government. Yes, this is perfectly legal. No, the fact that an informant “helped” you with your stupid plans is no defense in a criminal case if you were predisposed to violent action. Yes, it is possible that anti-government groups were subjects of intel gathering, but that nobody anticipated that the sitting PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES would egg then on and that that same President would rebuff his own Vice President’s request to call of his dogs by saying, “Mike, you’re too honest.”

There are hundreds of informants all over the place.
I spooked a certain Deranged Rhino into thinking that I may be one.
Are you so sure I’m not?  🤔

That was fun!! Now do the 2020 riots that caused billions in damage! 👍

This stuff is hilarious.

The FBI had an asset with some of the terrorists that did 9/11. Does that mean the FBI “was involved” with 9/11?

I’m having trouble keeping up with the latest explanation for January 6th. If I have it right, it was a peaceful protest of pro-Trump antifa who attacked the Capitol because the FBI told them to do so. Is that right?

This is an overly simplistic point of view.

Post 9/11, there were many, many questions about failures of the intelligence community to identify to identify and stop the attacks before they happened.  These were reasonable questions.

Somewhere between “the FBI assets were responsible for the attacks” and “There’s nothing to see here!” is reasonable.  In spite of the fact that Trump has not been charged with a crime for being directly involved with the 1/6 riots, there has been rampant speculation that he was intimately involved.  Given that he hasn’t been charged, it’s reasonable to assume that the 1/6 riot was spontaneous, at least from his perspective.

A completely reasonable question is if there were assets embedded, and if they knew of the threat of violence, and if they knew/believed Trump was directly involved—how was the Capital overrun to begin with?

The entire 1/6 committee narrative has been an effort to link the acts of violence at the Capitol with the post-election activities of the administration and to date has failed to prove that Trump somehow "directed" the events at the Capitol.  At this point they have less than 2 months left on the clock before the committee goes bye-bye.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

The Post reports:

Several committee staff members were floored earlier this month when they were told that a draft report would focus almost entirely on Trump and the work of the committee’s “Gold Team,” excluding reams of other investigative work.

Potentially left on the cutting room floor, or relegated to an appendix, were many revelations from the “Blue Team” — the group that dug into the law enforcement and intelligence community’s failure to assess the looming threat and prepare for the well-forecast attack on the Capitol. The proposed report would also cut back on much of the work of the Green Team, which looked at financing for the Jan. 6 attack, and the Purple Team, which examined militia groups and extremism.

So they’re not even focusing on the Oath Keepers or the Proud Boys and all of the FBI agents embedded within them. It’s strictly about Trump.
