After how badly he played last year it’s not much of a surprise that no one is willing to take a chance on him. He can’t throw anymore. At this stage he’s nothing more than a RB disguised as a QB. Your not gonna win much games with him as a starter.

I don’t know.  He was pretty drama free with the Pats.  Teams with bad backup QB’s could regret not picking him up and a 17th game means an extra game where your starter could get hurt.  I think not being vaccinated is the deal breaker.  Can’t have a backup QB who’s not available when you need him.  If Barkley was still our backup, I’d want Newton but your backup QB has gotta be vaccinated.

I don’t dislike the guy, but

always thought he was overrated. 

 This^^^,  and one play, yes, that one play, it kinda hangs over his career, I understand he’s a good guy off the field, but it is what it is.
