Of course not

But they might make a decision that it doesn't go downtown because of a socialist mayor and an unknown element

Well deciding it won't be downtown is making a decision about it's future location.

Any hint on what these "unknown element" or "elements" might be?

Buffalo has been stabilized over the last 16 years under Byron Brown

Hes a politician who knows the game.. sure he ran a weak campaign but he thought he was a shoe in to win

There are a lot of business men and people in the community who are really worried about somebody who is unqualified with radical ideas

If/when she is sworn in and depending how long she stays the City of Buffalo could drastically change.. it's a very real unknown element

Socialism = BAD. Let's get rid of Police, Fire, Schools, Teachers, Roads, (etc., etc) so we can be DONE with the dreaded "Socialism"!!!

She wants to take 6 million away from the Buffalo police force hahaha  and then allocate more funds

The most violent city in the state.. they need better police training not handicapped

If The wealthy, and corporations paid their fair share, there would be plenty of money to go around, but facts always seem to get in the way, for you.

America's a capitalist society. The exact opposite of socialism

Buffalo's stabilization is due to the massive piles of money the city has received from the state over that time period (see:  the Buffalo Billion scam).

I don't know what power the Mayor Of Buffalo has to make radical changes, no matter their philosophy. Upstate city mayors are mostly caretakers in metros with County government (Erie, Monroe, etc).  Brown is still under federal investigation for taking contributions from the city's garbage hauling contractor.  His 5th term campaign should have been a slam dunk.  The city's finances are bad.

Businesses should worry that this boob is gone.

So. Get rid of the roads, and bridges, Schools, Police, Fire, Clean Water, etc. That's what you want. Right?

How does pro capitalism equal any of that

Police forces and schools does not equal socialism

Our taxes pay for those.. and taxes isn't socialism

Socialism is complete government and state intervention in business.. there are no privately owned businesses in true socialism

Capitalism will let you go from the ghetto to a millionaire

Mayors have enough power.

She could turn Buffalo into a sanctuary City if she wants.

No they don't.  Budgets are proposed and then voted on.

Sanctuary has nothing to do with cops funding.

I never said it had anything to do with cop funding. I said she wants to allocate 6 million dollars of police funds

And Mayors do have the power to turn a city into a sanctuary City. And people are afraid she will

Sure there is...

https://www.roadsnacks.net/most-dangerous-places-in-new-york/

Who cares if it's a sanctuary city?

Mayor can't cut funding by deciding to reallocate it somewhere else.  A budget has to be passed by the legislature.

It's violent on the east side
