Democrat Senate majority at risk as Senator Dianne Feinstein, 89, is hospitalized for SHINGLES

- weeks after John Fetterman was also hospitalized with clinical depression

by Geoff Earle

Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California was hospitalized in recent days with shingles and is now being treated in her hometown of San Francisco, her office announced Thursday. Feinstein missed a key vote Wednesday when the Senate voted 50 to 46 to block a Biden administration rule allowing retirement fund managers to consider environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in investment decisions. She has also missed a pair of Senate Judiciary Committee hearings.

The grift never ends.

And explains why they fought so hard against accounting of our tax dollars being spent on military in Ukraine.

very strange how my entire lifetime has never seen much time where america is not in a war/military conflict that needs "support". as soon as afganistan finally ends...in a humiliating way that disrespects everyone who fought because they believed it would bring about a better future. hell if we just moved the equipment we abandoned to ukraine what would that have saved the american taxpayers?

this is not a bi partisan issue. america is no longer in a position to finance or conduct these wars. it was put in a good perspective. all the funds we bicker over..social security, medicare support for our veterans was spent long ago bombing and rebuilding a bridge in iraq. probably before that and those things exist on smoke and mirrors credit. yet here we are spending billions  more to make sure our entire economy is nothing more then debt our grandchildren will have to pay the price for.

No disagreement and its not political. it wasn't a party that wanted accountability. just a handful of politicians that were shut down by mongers on both sides of the isle. but like everything in today's tribal world.   the tribes want it to be political.

strange that the right and libertarians and far left all agree that peace should be the number 1 priority. the only ones who support this fight indefinitely is moderate left. meanwhile the "squad" talks a good one about war but votes against their constituents and not held accountable. when the "freedom caucus" holds firm with their constituents they are destroying america and a "joke".

its never ending hypocrisy from them on every subject yet still hold enough power to push the world into nuclear destruction. alot of history about the downfall of great civilizations follow this playbook. maybe its just human nature. when things get to comfortable and survival is no longer a imminent need then humans cycle to following morons into destruction. a reset of society to force ourselves back to requiring and valuing basic human needs to survive. im sure whoever is left will swear that they will never repeat it...until they get nice and comfortable again.

when we have to argue whether a parent should have control over a childs education and values or a large amount of people have more of a concern over criminals then the victims they affect we are past the point of "different views" and well on the way to whatever took down greese, rome, ect ect.

The Democrat Civil War Over Kamala Harris Is Getting Juicy

0697111d-2313-42d0-8c76-53422d1b7cb8-450

The Democratic Party has found itself in a precarious position as its long-running internal civil war continues to spill out into the open.

For all the talk of GOP troubles regarding its presidential primary, Democrats find themselves stuck between a senile old man who may not be able to physically run, and the heir apparent, who just so happens to be one of the most unlikable, untalented politicians in history. That’s left party power brokers with basically one option: Continue to play “Weekend at Bernie’s” with Joe Biden no matter what the cost.

They can’t let Harris be the nominee, and they know it. That’s led to a lot of consternation being shared in the press about the vice president’s trouble. Now, some are trying to clean up that mess, and it’s not going well at all.

According to CNN, Harris is not even returning Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s calls at this point.

sounds like Biden is about to Approve the Willow project (Pipeline and oil drilling in Alaska), while also banning drilling from the majority of Alaska.

Just guessing the usual sources will amplify the ban in the name of the green god while making the willow approval a line item at the bottom of the story.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/biden-blocks-other-oil-drilling-in-alaska-while-considering-willow-project#:~:text=(AP) — As President Joe,administration official said on Sunday.

But just like his chips bill. the company that will get the windfall from this legislation is controlled by Blackrock/Vanguard.

Quote

The Vanguard Group, Inc. is currently the company's largest shareholder with 8.9% of shares outstanding. BlackRock, Inc. is the second largest shareholder owning 8.0% of common stock, and Capital Research and Management Company holds about 6.7% of the company stock.

on a side note, as large private corporations have moved to public corps, these funds seem to be the true owners.  Everyone loves to talk about the CEO. but the CEO just works for the board.  And it seems more and more of these boards are just reps for huge funds.

The Democrats’ Disastrous Miscalculation on Civil Liberties:

Americans have been told a dangerous and uncertain world requires stronger managers and less freedom, but the decline of civil liberties is what started this mess.

Our “stronger managers” seem to mostly be idiots, as every day of this sad administration and the January 6 committee has made clear.

Giving them more power is a terrible idea.

Citizens United is/was a conservative 401C org that brought the suit that made this much worse.  Blame them and SCOTUS.

is there some rule where the modern lefts only retort is to yell about the others.

And full ironic twist. the left has won that game and runs the DEMS with PACS, charities and other highly funded groups that have nothing to do with democracy. but are amazing at highlighting Wedge topics.  that you all seem to support now.

Epic.
