Good data but does it include when flags were thrown, a’la third down, red zone, etc? I have not read all of your links so just asking.

Not sure if they measure how many TD’s called back, but that would be interesting. In addition, looking specifically at NE*** flags for and against in the time frame in question. Easy to mask things if you spread the data set out enough.

Just some basic questions I ask when given some data.

Okay, the statement you had seemed to be implying the sole reason backing it up was the 2020 bills, glad you have more substantial evidence 👍

I haven't dug super into it myself. I just know I've seen multiple sources support that penalties don't equate to winning or losing.

This actually surprised me, as I don't feel like they've been flagged a ton in most games this season.

I was REALLY (not really) shocked to see that New England has the fewest penalties in the league.

A lot of other playoff teams are right up there with the Bills, so I'm not quite sure exactly what it means. Just found it interesting.

I wish there were a graph that shows the trend from week to week throughout the season.  I think this is something we’ve gotten much better with, but am too lazy to look up

So we are always told that generally more talented and disciplined teams have fewer penalties. How is it that Pats have 10 fewer penalties then any other team? Bills and KC almost double. After the neck tackle by the OT on Cam’s TD run I think we know the Hoodie and pan to Kraft have to factor in 🤷🏻‍♂️

The scary thing is the offense is so good and they gobble up chunks of yardage so easily that it typically doesn't have any effect on them.

3rd in yards per drive, 2nd in points per drive, 2nd in drive success rate, 2nd in time of possession per drive...
